HCC STYLE GUIDE
The HCC wordmark is the preferred graphic identifier for the college. It
incorporates elements of the HCC logo, and also reinforces the institutional name
in a clear, resolute typeface. The HCC logo is used only with approval from HCC
Communications. The HCC wordmark is designed for everyday implementation and
use on internal documents, as well as external marketing collateral and materials,
without approval. Please use this guide to implement the HCC wordmark correctly
and maintain the visual integrity and strength of our brand.
TYPOGRAPHY
UNACCEPTABLE WORDMARK VARIATIONS
The approved substitution font for Avenir is Arial. When a serif font is needed, the
approved font is Minion.
As an official symbol of the college, the wordmark cannot be manipulated,
modified or appended in any way. It may not be placed next to or combined with
any other text, image, HCC wordmark or any other organization’s logo or identifier.
