Shorts from Spain Making the work of the new talents of Spanish cinema who, through their short films, convey to audiences their concerns, capacities and their high degree of professionalism, is a priority for the ICAA. This is an important step for disseminating Spanish cinema and, although it may show the work of only a few directors, it is an excellent example of the good work and the talent of many others, and we encourage them to continue creating “major” films, whatever their length may be. 209 237 240 2009 2010 249 228 210 237 246 2013 2014 262 233 156 2006 2007 2008 2011 2012 2015 2016 Production And Shooting Of Short Films 2006 To 2016 Associations of the short film sector in Spain Plataforma de Nuevos Realizadores (PNR) Coordinadora del Cortometraje Español (CCE) Asociación de la Industria del Cortometraje (AIC) www.plataformanuevosrealizadores.com www.coordinadoradelcorto.org www.aicortometraje.es Spain consists of 17 regions, known as Autonomous Communities, which are endowed with a certain legislative autonomy with their own representatives, and certain executive and administrative competencies, one of which is culture.
