All DELIVERIES will be coordinated through the Distribution Department. A DELIVERY consists of a single or multiple orders shipping
to one destination at one time. Orders placed on a DELIVERY will not be shipped until the Distribution Department is notified by the
authorized Independent Business Owner (AUTHORIZED IBO) that the DELIVERY should be CLOSED, which means all orders shipping

products will not be available to ship until the manufacturing process is completed (see below); Conklin will contact the AUTHORIZED
IBO when product is ready to be placed on a DELIVERY.
The AUTHORIZED IBO receiving the DELIVERY must arrange the means to unload the delivery (i.e. pallet jack, fork lift, personnel,
etc.). Drivers will not assist in unloading the DELIVERY. It is also the AUTHORIZED IBO’S responsibility to ensure that the DELIVERY
address and physical location are acceptable to the driver (i.e. grade, driveway angle, posted vehicle restrictions, etc.). If these
accommodations cannot be met, the driver has the right to refuse delivery at the AUTHORIZED IBO’S expense.
Bulk Fertilizer Shipments

Special Orders
Any product labeled with an asterisks (*) in the Conklin Pricer indicates that the product is a special order product and may not be
available to be placed on a DELIVERY for up to three (3) weeks from the date ordered. The Distribution Department will contact the
AUTHORIZED IBO when the special order product is available to be placed on a DELIVERY. Please note that this call does not CLOSE
the DELIVERY.
Products ordered from Conklin that are shipped directly from Atlas or Trufast with the product numbers of 054874, 056598, and
056580 are considered a special order. There are no products stocked by Conklin, therefore, once a special order is taken, all sales are
final and special orders cannot be cancelled.
Conklin offers a wide variety of color options for many of its coatings and sealers. Due to the color customization of coatings and
sealers, ALL customized orders are final once the order has been taken and cannot be cancelled.
Expedited Orders
The cutoff for expedited order to have the option of going out same day is 3 p.m. CDT.
Back Orders
Conklin will ship all DELIVERIES within 72 hours from the time the DELIVERY is CLOSED. Any product not available to be shipped
within that time is considered a back order. All product(s) back ordered will be shipped as soon as they become available at no
additional cost to the AUTHORIZED IBO unless otherwise communicated by the Distribution Department.
Shipping Damages, Missing Product and Incorrect Product Received
All DELIVERIES should be inspected immediately upon receipt and any damaged*, missing or incorrect products should be noted on
the receiving documents or rejected and reported to the Distribution Department within five (5) business days from the receipt of
the DELIVERY, otherwise the AUTHORIZED IBO accepts responsibility for the DELIVERY.

Conklin will once again permit second drops on shipments outside of 125 miles apart if they meet the following conditions: (1)
The shipments must have a minimum of five (5) days notice from the time the truck is closed (which means no more changes to
the order) to when the order is ready to be shipped – the 72-hour window increases to a full week to ensure we can find a truck,
driver and accurate quote; and (2) The change will be the actual freight charge from the carrier with a $275 minimum, which is the
charge for a 125-mile shipment.

The Conklin Freight program applies to all non-bulk (or packaged) products with the exception of boardstock. This is a domestic
program offering freight transportation to destinations in the 48 U.S. contiguous states.
The maximum weight for a dry van trailer is 42,500 pounds of product. Winter orders with freezable product will lower the
maximum weight to 41,500 pounds due to the need for heated trailers.
Multiple orders must fit on one dry van trailer or, for winter shipping, one heated trailer. The maximum pallet count is 24.
Standard size pallets are 48”x48”x56”. Keep in mind that four 55-gallon drums constitute one pallet. Sheet goods on rolls over
four feet (Hy-Crown®, Flexion® and Spun-Flex TM) will require more room. Mini bulks are one pallet space.
Add-ons policy
Once an order has been closed, no additional product will be added. A new order may be placed and shipped separately at
Independent Business Owner’s (Independent Distributor) or customer’s expense or held for the next shipment.
Overweight shipments
Once a truck has reached maximum capacity or maximum weight, add-on orders will be shipped separately at Independent
Distributor’s/customer’s expense or held for the next shipment.
Added charge for shipment of hazardous material
There will be a charge of $200 for truckloads that include a placardable quantity (750 lbs. or more) of hazardous material.
Should a non-hazardous material truck be ordered and there is an add-on with hazardous material, the addition of hazardous
material may cause a delay in shipping, and the Independent Distributor or customer may be required to reimburse Conklin for
a “truck ordered, not used” fee from the carrier.
If a truck is re-routed to an alternate destination after shipping from Conklin, the Independent Distributor or customer will be
responsible for any additional charges. These may include but are not limited to detainment, drop fee and/or additional miles.
Claims
Reports of damaged or lost product and shipping errors must be reported within 5 days of the shipping date to Conklin’s
Distribution Department.
