Report Cards
Wednesday , November 9th, the first report card of the school year will
be sent home for students in grades 2 through 4.
Conferences
Will be held on Thursday, November 10, 4:008:00 p.m. and November 11, 7:30-11:30 a.m.
School will be dismissed at 11:35 a.m. on Thursday and there will be no school on November 11.
If you have not scheduled a time for a
conference please email your child’s teacher for
instructions on how to sign up, using Sign Up Genius.
Book Fair
Eastside Library is holding a BOOK FAIR . The book fair will start on
November 8th and end on November 11th. More information about the
book fair will be coming home with your student(s) soon! We are looking
for volunteers to help run the book fair. If you are interested in helping,

Advanced Learner Program Update
We are off to a great start now that we are settled in at home. Please see the ALP section on the
Eastside website for updates and more information on Identification, Conferencing Logs, and Math
24. If you are interested in volunteering to supervise Math 24 during 4th grade lunch recess please

Science Fair
The Advanced Learner Program has made a change to our science fair schedule. In the past all
schools participated in the science fare every other year, which was a lot of work. Starting this year
there will now be a science fair every year, although each school will still be participating every other year. That means this year Patrick Marsh, Eastside, C.H. Bird and Northside will participate in the
science fair and it will be held Patrick Marsh Middle School on November 17th from 6-7:30. Our
hope is that this approach will allow students and families from other schools to visit the science
fair. A flyer was sent home and we have quite a number of scientist preparing project so please
mark you calendars and stop by.

Dear Eastside Families:
The holidays are fast approaching! Once again this year, Eastside is working with
the Sun Prairie Community Help Organization and their Spirit of Giving Program. If
you would like to help an Eastside family this holiday season, please stop by Nov.
14th-Dec. 1st and pick a tag from our Spirit of Giving Tree. Starting
around November 20th you can go to www.sunshineplace.org and click on the
Spirit of Giving Program banner at the top to select a family. If you have questions
regarding the Spirit of Giving Program, please contact Nicole Rairden at 834-7462.
