RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Committee endorse the change of dates for the temporary road
closure of Goderich Lane, between Pennys Lane and Ward Avenue, Potts Point as follows:
•
from 3-7 April 2017 to 3-5 and 8-9 May 2017 between 7.30am and 5.30pm; and
•
from 10-14 April 2017 to 10-12 and 15-16 May 2017 as the alternative dates in case
of inclement weather.

DECISION
The Committee carried the recommendation unanimously out-of-session on 20 April 2017.
BACKGROUND
On 15 March 2017, the Local Pedestrian, Cycling and Traffic Calming Committee
(LPCTCC) endorsed the temporary closure of Goderich Lane, between Pennys Lane and
Ward Avenue, Potts Point for road works from Monday 3 April 2017 to Friday 7 April 2017
between 7.30am and 5.30pm, and alternative dates in case of inclement weather from
Monday 10 April 2017 to Friday 14 April 2017.
The Applicant has advised that the temporary closure could not be carried out on the
preferred and alternative dates and has requested the following new dates:
•
3-5 and 8-9 May 2017 between 7.30am and 5.30pm; and
•
10-12 and 15-16 May 2017 as the alternative dates in case of inclement weather.
COMMENTS
The City circulated the change of dates to the relevant voting LPCTCC members and the
Transport Management Centre (TMC) for consideration. The Committee carried the
recommendation unanimously out-of-session on 20 April 2017.
CONSULTATION
The Applicant is required to notify affected stakeholders as stipulated in Schedule B.
