Be sure of your business
Choose profitability and security
Success doesn’t come automatically, especially when viruses are putting the crop under pressure. You want to rely on a
cucumber variety that combines top production with the highest mosaic virus resistance. SEncere gives you that.
Grading
Profitable
Virus resistance often means lower
production. But that’s not the case with
SEncere! This new Nunhems variety provides
high production:
• equal to not virus resistant varieties
• an average of 5% higher than standard
virus resistant varieties
With SEncere, you will harvest the highest
percentage of 400 grams cucumbers, giving
you an excellent average fruit weight.

Security
The cucumber green mottle mosaic virus spreads
incredibly fast. SEncere’s high resistance to the mosaic
virus, along with its high plant vigor, ensures that the virus
has no chance to gain a foothold.
“In the past, we’ve often had problems with the cucumber green mottle mosaic virus, and it caused a great deal of damage. In
2015 we planted the new Nunhems variety SEncere on 3.5 hectares at one location. We were really happy with it. This variety
has good quality and a better shelf life. And the high plant vigor ensures that the variety isn’t affected by the cucumber green
mottle mosaic virus - it grows through it, so to speak.”
