We’re proud to announce the launch of a totally new accommodation experience that will take your breath
away. The Kelo-Glass Igloo combines the comforting warmth of our cosy log cabins with the sensational
views of our world-famous glass igloos.
Kelo is a special type of pinewood found only in Lapland. In the extreme climate of the unforgiving north,
the trees grow slowly and the wood hardens to produce a tough material that’s perfect for building.
Our 16 new Kelo-Glass Igloos will be ready to receive visitors in November 2015. All feature a private
sauna, fireplace, kitchenette, and a bedroom with a stunning glass roof. Take in the enchanting beauty of the
northern lights and the Lappish wilderness from the comfort of your own private hideaway.

Christmas Program package applies from 23.12.15 to 26.12.15, it is a 3-night package including 2-way airport
transfer from Ivalo Airport, 3 nights stay in the same cabin, 2 normal half board dinners and the festive program
on the Christmas Eve with a buffet dinner and Santa’s Home Visit

CHANGING ROOM
!
Check-out time is at 10:00. Please vacate your room before 10:00, you could leave your luggage in the luggage
room before checking in to the new room. The check-in time will be around 14:00-15:00.
GENERAL INFORMATION

Guests can borrow our wooden sleighs for luggage handling within our hotel, should you request the luggage
handling service from us, it will be at €9 per person per way, please reserve in advance
!
The closest airport is the Ivalo Airport which is 35km away, about 30 minutes’ drive from Kakslauttanen Arctic
Resort. Transfer service can be arranged at €26 per person per way, half price for children under 12. Please book
in advance with flight number and time
!
All safaris and activities must be reserved through the hotel, only chartered suppliers are allowed to pick up
guests from our hotel. Safaris and activities can be booked also on spot, however we do recommend our guests
to book the activities in advance to avoid disappointment on arrival in case our suppliers get fully booked TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GROUP RESERVATIONS
! Requirement of minimum 16 persons
! Special accommodation price for driver or tour leader at €65 per person per night with breakfast and dinner, rooms
are located in West Village with double occupancy, if driver or tour leader stays in log cabin, glass or snow igloo, net
rate will be applied
! For room allocation, Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort allocates the space according to the availability and past
materialization, space is not confirmed until the deposit payment is received
! Priority is given to requests where minimum of 2 excursions are booked. This applies for a minimum 2 hour safaris
and visits at Santa´s Resort. The request with most activities booked has highest priority
! All safaris and activities must be reserved through the hotel
! The number of materialized bookings in summer season also affects the priority
! Partners need to settle 50% deposit for the reservation by the end of July, for the reservations made after July, 50%
deposit has to be received in our account within 5 days and final payment should be settled 60 days before the arrival
date. If the arrival date is less than 60 days, 100% has to be settled at the time of confirmation. If the payment cannot
be received within 5 days, we reserve the right to release any tentative bookings without any further reminder
! Credit card processing fee at €20 applies for each transaction, we accept Visa, Master, Diners and American Express
! Punctuality is important for the reserved meal arrangements as well as activities, rescheduling of meal time is
allowed 24 hours in advance, for rescheduling of activities, it is subject to availability and we may not be able to
change. Late arrival may shorten the duration of the reserved arrangements. Should the arrival time be later than 30
minutes, additional charge of €30 will be applied for each additional 15 minutes, while it is €60 on Sundays for
postponements. We reserve the flexibility in rescheduling the meal time with the range of 30 minutes to avoid
overcrowding in the restaurant
! Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort reserves the right to change the prices or terms and conditions without any prior notice
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR GROUPS:
! After the deposit payment, 30% of the estimated total is non-refundable
! 61-120 days before arrival, 50% of the estimated total is non-refundable
! 60 days before arrival, 100% is non-refundable
! There is an option of 2 igloos or 2 cabins with total maximum of 4 persons less at no cost if the arrival date is more
than 61 days
! Cancellation charges apply to accommodation, half board and activities
INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS
! Guests send us request, we will check the availability and revert within 72 hours
! In order to secure the reservation, 50% of the deposit has to be received in our account within 5 days, if the lead time
of the booking is less than 60 days, 100% has to be settled. If the payment cannot be received in 5 days, we reserve
the right to release any tentative bookings without any further reminder
! Credit card processing fee at €20 is applied to each transaction, we currently accept Visa, Master, Diners and
American Express
! All safaris and activities must be reserved through the hotel
! Final payment should be settled 60 days before arrival

required, 100% of the estimated total will be charged
! For reservations of Icebreaker Sampo and overnight safaris, full deposit has to be settled at the time of reservation.
Icebreaker Sampo requires at least 40 days of notice for cancellation, while overnight safaris require at least 21 days
of notice for cancellation
! Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort reserves the right to change the prices or terms and conditions without any prior notice
