The results of work of the Senior Project Manager (Training) impacts directly on delivery of services that satisfy the requirements of the Department as well as the performance of the services implemented in the DFS/DPKO 埱�eld missions and headquarters. It will also ensure proper processes and methodologies are followed and implemented according to the latest of the industry standards. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring activities for all global locations are in line with the overall business targets and UN policies, rules and regulations. Functional Responsibilities Under the overall supervision of the UNOPS Global ICT Services Director, the Senior Project Manager (Training Coordinator) will work with the DFS Project Management O韷�ce (PMO) Lead. The Senior Project Manager (Training Coordinator) will perform the following duties: Ensure the overall management and coordination of Umoja deployments and its training programmes. Coordinate the execution of project plan activities related to (i) mobilization of site teams; (ii) planning and analysis of the deployment project plan; (iii) testing of roles and solution that 埱�t the business model; (iv) data preparation; (v) user access mapping and work鼅ows; (vi) mock runs and other testing required; (vii) training activities; (viii) communications; (ix) overall deployment support pre and post go-live. Prepare operational footprint analysis of targeted deploying entities and map the as-is to the to-be process in Umoja. Coordinate the strategic activities between business owners and stakeholders in DFS and other Secretariat Departments to ensure that the solution best 埱�ts the operating model of missions, and addressing gaps where needed. Work closely with Umoja Site Coordination and Deployment teams at 埱�eld missions to ensure project activities are delivered on a timeline basis to sustain the overall deployment. Work closely with the Department of Management Umoja team and business owners on the post-implementation review of issues raised by missions. Seek out 埱�xes, responses, actions and change management activities to facilitate the adoption of Umoja or alternatively work with high-level task force committees to implement required changes. Develop strategic training objectives and outcomes for ongoing deployments as well as the overall DFS Umoja Training Programme across the Umoja Foundation and Umoja Extension 1 modules, as well as anticipating future training needs of upcoming modules based on ongoing training needs assessment. Education/Experience/Language requirements Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent degree) in Information Systems Management, Business/Public Administration, Law, Economics or a related 埱�eld is required. A 埱�rstlevel university degree in combination with two additional years of quali埱�cation experience may be accepted in lieu of the advance university degree. Experience: A minimum of 7 years progressively responsible professional experience in project or programme management is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management speci埱�cally related to ICT Knowledge/Training management is required. Project Management Certi埱�cation such as Prince2/PMP is required. Experience in instructional design and delivery of career/sta៓� support, performance management and/or learning activities is desirable.
