The Mustang Messenger OCTOBER 2015 We are online! This year we encourage all of our families to visit our school website at: https://publicboard.ca/ schools/maxwell/Pages/ default.aspx We will also keep you up to date with Blog Posts, Twitter Tweets and Pinterest Pins. This will ensure you have the most current information about events happening in and around Maxwell School. From the Principal’s Desk Dear Parents/Guardians, The new school year has started! We had re-organization day on September 21, 2015. Presently, we are at 250 students. Fortunately, we did not have to re-organize any classrooms. The staff and students worked on setting up their organizational goals for the year. Our weekly assemblies have been going well and the students are falling back into their routines! Please welcome our new grade 2/3 teacher, Ms. McIntosh, and our new grade 3/4 teacher, Mr. Stewart, to Maxwell! Chocolate bar sales are going extremely well and we still have a few packages to sell. If you would like more, please see Mrs. Adlam. We have extended the due date to October 16, 2015. Please return the funds as soon as possible to Mrs. Adlam so that we can use the funds for school related activities. Our assembly for the prizes will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Please ensure you have returned all funds by October 16th to ensure your child can be a part of the prize draws. A reminder that we have two special events in October. Our Fall Festival and Movie Night will be held on October 16, 2015. Our School Council will also be hosting a food day on October 23, 2015 from SUBWAY. We would like to acknowledge and thank the School Council for assisting with our community building events.
