Teams will p play each other teeam within their pool an nd, dependinng on the nu umber of tea ams within t he tournament, may mber of mattches. also playy teams from m other pools in order to provide eacch team with an even num 1.5 Each team w will be award ded points w ithin their po ool as follow ws: a. 4 points for a win b. 2 points for a draw c. 1 bonus poin nt for scoringg four tries oor more d. 1 bonus poin nt for a losin ng margin of 7 points or less 1.6 If on compleetion of the pool matchees two or more teams h have the sam me number o of points, precedeence shall be determined on the folloowing basis: a. e the higher standing; The team orr teams with the most wiins shall have b. If still unresolved, the team or teeams with the t highest points diffeerence (that is, the difference between points score ed and pointss conceded) shall have th he higher staanding; c. If still unressolved, the team t or teaams which scored s the most m tries shhall have th he higher standingg; d. olved, then h head‐to‐headd results willl determine tthe higher sttanding; If still unreso e. If still unreso olved, the to oss of a coin w will determine the highe er standing. 1.7 If scores aree equal at th he end of a qquarter‐finall or semi‐final, the winnner shall be tthe team which sccored the most tries. If sstill unresolvved, the winner shall be the team w which scored the first try. If no o tries have b been scored,, the winner shall be dete ermined by tthe toss of a coin. 1.8 If scores aree equal at th he end of thhe final, extra‐time shall be played cconsisting in the first instancee of two halvves of five minutes m eachh. The first team t to score a point inn extra‐time shall be deemed d the winner. In the even nt that neith er team has scored with hin this first pperiod of exxtra‐time, an addittional period d shall be played and sha ll continue u until one team m scores. 1.9 A team mayy replace a player for the purposes off injury or substitution onn a rolling ba asis. 1.10 A team whicch is unable to field seveen players and five reserves in any ggiven match because of injuryy or illness m may “borrow”” players from m another te eam, on cond dition that: a. The other teeam has already been eli minated from the tourna ament; b. The permisssion of the Evvent Manageer has been ssecured; c. A team’s reegistered players must bbe selected to t play ahea ad of any “bborrowed” player, p as long as tthey are fit to do so; Any player w d. who has bee en replaced by a “borrow wed” player may take nno further pa art in the tournam ment; Once a playeer has been “borrowed” by a team, h e. he may not b be “borrowedd” by anothe er team; f. Only players who have been registered to play in the tournament as part of a team may be “borrowed” by another team. 1.11 A yellow‐card offence will result in a player spending two minutes in the sin bin.
