Unique, exciting and exceptionally diverse Oceanfront Golf
The Quivira Golf Club, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is located next to the
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Resort & Spa.
With seven out of the eighteen holes playing to or along the ocean,
Quivira Los Cabos will have the most oceanfront play of any course in
Los Cabos. Even the practice facilities are located next to the ocean.
The Golf Course has an extremely unique topography, with natural
terrain including massive sand dunes, rugged cliffs, white-sand beaches,
private coves, and desert canyons, all of which provide the setting for
holes that hug the coastline and wind through the rolling hillside.
Jack Nicklaus says that the course offers many spectacular shots, not too
difficult for the average golfer, while pros will find this a good challenge
and an exciting golf course to play.
The result is a truly one-of-a-kind golf experience - what many anticipate
to be one of the best courses in Mexico and abroad.

Dulce Patria Restaurant
A new restaurant featuring Mexican traditional cuisine with an aesthetic
reinterpretation, this is the distinctive seal of the owner and Chef Martha Ortiz Chapa.
The history and celebrities of the Mexican culture that inspired Martha Ortiz are
featured in dishes filled with color and aesthetics. The experience begins with the
different flavors of fresh waters which goes from the “horchata milagrosa” (rice water)
to the “jamaica con pétalos de rosa” and ends up literally like the fairs; with a
carrousel of petit fours with traditional Mexican candies. A must: the cream of green
beans with Vanilla from Papantla. Judging Dulce Patria has not been easy, their
presentations are so intense, that take you to another time in the past. Eating here is
a little like eating with a Polaroid camera. Dulce Patria is very much like taking a peak
to a kitsch shelf –Black chair with Golden ribs, fabulous service, delicious cocktails
and fresh waters, some dishes like the green chicken broth, coconut flan are just
perfect. A place not to be missed on your next visit to Mexico City
San Angel Neighborhood
Tenanitla was its first prehispanic name which meant “walled place”, because it
was protected by the” pedregal”, natural volcanic rock barrier, product of the
eruption of the Xitle volcano many years ago. The people that lived here were
dedicated to produce arts and crafts, as well as farming. The prescence of frailes
“dominics” and carmelitas” is reflected in two excellent religious churches, San
Jacinto and El Carmen. Due to its mild weather, San Angel was chosen in the
second half of the XVIII century by the wealthy families of the capital to establish
their residence in its camps. The first count of Revillagigedo, use to frequently visit
this place. In the XIX century San Angel has kept its rustic tranquility and was
visited by many people. Marquees Calderon de la Barca chose this place and
described some of their traditions in her book “Life in Mexico”.
There are several businesses that still keep the tradition of San Angel, the famous
San Angel Inn Restaurant, located in which use to be the ancient Goicoechea
Hacienda; the La Camelia Restaurant & Bar, which dates from 1931, La Fonda
San Angel; and of course the famous Bazar del Sabado with its wide variety of
arts & crafts in front of the San Jacinto Plaza. The main festivities of San Angel
are: the Feria de las Flores with 154 years of tradition, which is celebrated at the
same time as the Encuentro Internacional de Tunas o Estudiantinas, in which they
celebrate various concerts and “callejoneadas
