Hoosier Hills Insurance Acquires Bowden Agency Hoosier Hills Insurance Agency, a subsidiary of HHCU, recently announced its acquisition of Bowden Insurance Agency – creating the region’s leading provider of insurance products to businesses and consumers. The Bowden Insurance Agency has been providing quality insurance products from top insurance companies since 1980. As an independent, multi-line agency representing A+ rated insurance companies, their agency has more than 50 years of combined experience. “We are extremely excited to have the talented and highly regarded employees of Bowden Insurance Agency joining our organization,” said Jay Strauss, president of Hoosier Hills Insurance. “The combined strength of our two organizations gives us the capacity to bring the best in insurance and service solutions to our clients and members.” The merging of Hoosier Hills Insurance and Bowden Insurance Agency expands the expertise available to the clients of both organizations, particularly in the areas of personal lines and business insurance. The acquisition will be seamless to Bowden Insurance Agency customers, as Hoosier Hills Insurance will retain all Bowden Insurance Agency employees. President Charlie Bowden of Bowden Insurance Agency will also join Hoosier Hills Insurance as an Insurance Producer. “This acquisition greatly expands the number of companies we represent together, establishing a formidable network of independent agency companies,” said Strauss. “This will allow our agents to offer even more competitive quotes and pricing on the policies and services we offer.” George McNichols, president of Hoosier Hills Credit Union, said, “We’re really pleased to be adding some of the most talented and respected leaders in the insurance business to our team. The Credit Union is committed to building a top-of-the-line, independent insurance agency for the long-term benefit of our retail, commercial and public unit members.” ‘Tis the Season for Skip-a-Pay!
