As maintenance and operational expenses escalate,
facility managers and building owners are continuously
challenged to find new ways of reducing costs by
controlling energy. Replacing old lighting technology
to LED technology is the first step in acheiving energy
savings. To maximize energy savings without sacrificing
safety or performance, choose a luminaire with an
integrated motion sensor. Use energy only when
occupancy is in the room!

A luminaire with an integrated motion sensor is perfect for:

Please note: To maximize energy savings, special attention should be given to luminaire location
in relation to unintended objects that could trigger a false fixture activation such as windows,
nearby moving plants, pedestrians or traffic passing by.
MICROWAVE
TECHNOLOGY
Each luminaire sends out microwave
pulses and measures the reflection of
moving objects. They cover a larger
area than infrared sensors, and
with the angle of induction of 360
degrees, each luminaire can detect
movement up to 8m (26ft) and goes
off after 30 seconds of no detection.
