Geography/Topography/Vegetation
 The most important physical feature in Ancient Egypt and Kush was the NILE RIVER
o The Nile River was surrounded by the Libyan Desert, Arabian Desert, and the Nubian
Desert.
 Deserts made it hard to live near the river but also created a natural barrier
to keep people safe.
 The environmental factor of fresh water and a food source made living near the Nile
important for Kush and Egypt.
 Nile River valley had fertile soil for farming (Nile river flooding made great silt which
was great for farming)
