LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION
BRIDGE REPAIRS AND RESURFACING, MILEPOST 0 TO 122,
THE NEWARK BAY –HUDSON COUNTY EXTENSION
AND THE PEARL HARBOR MEMORIAL TURNPIKE EXTENSION
Gentlemen:
The instructions contained in this letter shall govern your inspection of all work
sites where work will be performed under the above contract. For access to and movement over
those portions of the prospective job site within the Authority’s right-of way, the prospective
bidders shall adhere to and be governed by the "Regulations Relating to the Control of Traffic on
the New Jersey Turnpike."
Access to those portions of the sites outside the right-of-way fence and available
from local roads will not be restricted.
When use of Authority facilities is necessary for the purpose of on-site inspection,
specific arrangements shall be made during normal business hours through the office of the
Project Engineer (732-750-5300 ext. 8234) at least 72 hours in advance of such anticipated use.
Generally, on-site inspections will be limited to Tuesdays, Wednesdays and
Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
