cara Zirconium Dioxide – the ideal material for aesthetic restoration.
On account of its outstanding material properties and good compatibility, the material Zirconium
Dioxide has long been firmly established in dental technology and dentistry. Heraeus Kulzer therefore
sets the highest quality standards for processing this all-ceramic material in cara central production.
This starts with the selection of the raw material, extends to the manufacture of blanks through to
CAM processing and sintering: every step in the processing chain is precisely monitored. Regular
batch inspections and numerous tests performed in order to control the material properties and
the density level. Moreover, further quality controls before and after sintering ensure that the cara
framework is supplied to the laboratory intact and in the highest quality. In addition, we carry out
a geometry plausibility check as a means of excluding faults in the design.
You can also rely on the highest quality and manufacturing standards with our new translucent
Zirconium for monolithic all-ceramic Zirconium crowns.

dental region. As a result of its extremely high natural translucency and the tooth-like shading, this material is ideal in meeting
patient demands.

With HeraCeram® universal stains.
You ensure the right shade for the cara translucent frameworks with the HeraCeram universal stains – simply, safely and efficiently.
HeraCeram universal stains are ready-to-use in paste form. The product range includes 22 stains (2 ml) and a glaze paste (2 ml).
The glaze is also available as powder (20 g).
Thanks to their coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) and sinter properties, these universal stains are compatible with all
Heraeus Kulzer ceramics – and are therefore ideal for classical individualisation and for comprehensive colour designs with the
staining technique.
The fluorescence of the stains is individually matched to the level
of brightness of the stain. The consistency of the stains optimally fulfils
its primary function: homogenous distribution with extensive coverage
or characterisation with precise colour separation.

With HeraCeram universal stains setting the right tone for cara translucent frameworks is simple and efficient.
For an attractive aesthetic result.
Setting the base shade (V Classical):
■
Dentine can be shaded and the chroma reinforced with BS-A, B and C body stains. The consistency of the compounds
is adjusted such that they can be applied simply and efficiently for coverage.
Differentiation of the incisal region:
■
Especially the Enamel (EN) Pearl, Opal and Smoke stains are suitable for shading differentiation between the dentine and
incisal area.
Individual characterisation:
■
17 other shades offer almost unlimited possibilities in individual design. The individual shade pastes have a somewhat
firmer consistency for characterisations. However, they can be individually adjusted with paste glaze or fluid.
