Ag Art Wear Categories
Designer Traditional
If your design was made out of the finest clothing
materials, would you wear it? If yes, then Designer
Traditional is for you.
Designers need to create a conventional and traditional
styled garment, embracing the competition’s theme of
sourcing materials used in farming. The garment should
have artistic features but embrace innovative design
approaches as showcased on the great couture runways
of Europe.
Avant Garde
Unleash your inner creative genius and create a piece of
art for the body that is outrageously experimental and
pushes the boundaries of conventional design.
Entrants should create a visual effect that will generate
audience reaction. Designs in this category do not
encompass traditional clothing elements.
The objective is to create a mind-blowing effect –
challenging, innovative, radical and unique.
Classroom Couture
Fostering aspiring young artists and designers, this
category is open to those currently attending a secondary
education institution.
Designs in this category may either resemble traditional
garment styles and shapes or may be an ultra modern
piece of art for the body following the Avant Garde theme.
To compete in this category, entrants must be attending
a secondary school at the time of the competition entry
deadline of 8 May 2015.
See pg 8 for more details on this category.
