2. Accommodation and meals
All events and sessions of the 72nd General Assembly and Congress will take place
at the Four Star with Five Star Facilities Titania Hotel.
Titania Hotel is a short 20 minute drive from Athens International Airport and close to
the main downtown district of Athens. For more info on the hotel:

Hotel reservation requires credit card number. The reservations can not be confirmed
without it. Credit card Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.
The payment will be settled upon the arrival.
All double rooms are available with twin beds or one queen-size bed (upon
availability).
The extra expenses will be charged to the hotel guests and the payments shall be
made upon the check-out. Visa, Mastercard, Dinners Club and American Express
are accepted. Please keep in mind that these cards are not always accepted in the
shops and restaurants outside the hotel.
The CISM General Assembly and Congress is the annual CISM gathering and is, in
this perspective, an opportunity for all CISM delegates to spend time together, during
and outside the official session, socializing together and creating friendship and
understanding, ultimately enforcing the CISM Motto “Friendship through sport”.

As agreed by CISM officials, this hotel is per consequent the only official hotel to
be used during the GA.
Greek Delegation shall respect the CISM regulations referring to the respect to the
culinary restrictions and specificities linked to religions.
Soft drinks will be offered free of charge at all meals. Any additional drink (beers,
wine, etc) can be ordered at your own costs.
3. Facilities available at the hotel out of charge
Titania Hotel offers a wide range of facilities available for all guests in different
types like: Wi Fi, Gym, Business Center.
4. Facilities with charge
Anything else, but the above, that you want to use like: massage, parking
etc.

Each Delegation shall comprise one Chief of Delegation and a maximum of
two Delegates for a total of three members.
Additional CISM authorities members (BOD members, Commission Members, PCSC,
LO) can be registered too.

In order to secure that every participant is an official authority of CISM duly
authorized for all purposes of participation in the 72nd GA, every registration
form shall be screened by the CISM HQ.
In case of a country submits a registration for one or more people who are not
officially recognized by CISM.
To avoid any unpleasant situation of that kind, it is therefore highly
recommended that all CISM Member Nations confirm the exact composition of
its officials in their respective delegations by 31st March 2017 at the latest.
6. Cultural Day events
Greek Delegation will organize visits to cultural sites. The event schedule is subject
to change depending upon the number of participants and the local conditions.
7. Weather Condition
May is a soft month, it has a uniform climate; during the GA period, the average
max/min temperature in Athens is 13 °- 22° C and average humidity 20%. You can
expect warm days.
8. Transportation
Delegations are responsible for their transportation to and from any arrival point in
Athens.
The Greek Delegation will provide all transportation necessary for all official events
during the General Assembly.

10. Visa
Greece is part of the Schengen Area.
All participants who need visa for entering Greece must contact the Greek Embassy
or Consulate serving in their country.

11. Medical services
The Greek Delegation to CISM will be responsible for all first aid medical emergency
responses.
All other expenses arising from medical care for surgery, examination and treatment
will burden the participant delegation in accordance with CISM regulations. We
recommend the purchase of travel insurance for medical contingencies.
All participants are recommended to do a medical check-up with their medical services
especially people with respiratory troubles, high blood pressure or those susceptible
to migraines and headaches.

Greek Delegation asks for your submission of the registration before the deadline to
facilitate the preparation of the hotel rooms, meeting rooms and banquet halls for the
General Assembly.
The Greek Delegation to CISM will not have any kind of obligation towards the
CISM Member Nations failing to return the agreements of participation in due
time.
