A Note From Theresa
June was a really great month for me here at Wolverine
Media! I had a wonderful time at Youthtopia, and I
attended the Business Summit hosted by the Greater
Norwich Chamber of Commerce at the gorgeous Overlook
at Geer’s Farm.
On a personal note, I’m happy to tell you that my
oldest son just completed his 2nd year at Three Rivers
Community College, my middle son graduated from
Grasso Tech and is preparing to attend Johnson State in
Vermont this fall to pursue a career in Music Education
while minoring in Applied Mathematics. My youngest son
completed middle school, and will attend Ledyard High
School in September.
Just for fun, I snapped this selfie. The “Princesses”
followed us to the station after posing for photos at
Youthtopia. I always wanted to be a princess, so I couldn’t
resist hanging out with them for a while!

By the Numbers...
www.Wolverine-Radio.com posted some amazing numbers for June! There were over 25,000 unique visitors to
the site, an increase of more than 63% over the previous month. Keep in mind, when somebody plays Wolverine
Radio, several people may be in the vicinity enjoying our station, making our listenership even higher than the
numbers reflect!
The 2010 Census shows the combined population of Griswold & Plainfield to be 27,356. We can’t claim that
everyone in these towns are listening, but that only means that our reach has extended far beyond that area!
We’re getting their attention, so you can get their business!
MEET
Terry Sumner
Wolverine Radio is proud to have this multi-talented guy
on the air! A graduate of Griswold High School, he’s worked
in a variety of fields. He’s been a toolmaker, a photographer,
teacher, race announcer, and a State Police Sergeant before
retiring in 1996. But some people just can’t slow down, so
now he continues to D.J., (another talent he’s used since
1977!) with Wolverine Radio, and devotes a lot of his time to
“A Reason To Ride”, a non-profit organization created for
motorcycle enthusiasts to help needy veterans.
He’s both charming and handsome, but sorry, ladies, he’s
been happily married to his beautiful wife, Carolyn, for 34
years!

Advertising: The Basics
Just for fun…
Think you have a great product? Unfortunately, no one’s
going to know about it unless you advertise.
