FINA PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
FINA DIVING GRAND PRIX 2015
It is my great pleasure to introduce you the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2015, a
competition that once more will gather the top athletes in an attractive circuit
of meets worldwide. Nine stops in three continents are on the programme
with the kick-off taking place on February 20 in Rostock (GER) and the
conclusion of the competition scheduled in Gold Coast (AUS) on November
1. The 2015 Grand Prix will also include Mexico (city to be confirmed),
Gatineau (CAN), San Juan (PUR), Madrid (ESP), Italy (city to be confirmed),
Singapore (SIN) and Kuala Lumpur (MAS).
Still with vivid memories of the outstanding FINA Diving World Cup 2014 in
Shanghai (CHN), the Grand Prix will be an excellent occasion to enhance
the visibility and media exposure of diving worldwide. With the active support of our National
Federations, sponsors and partners, and TV networks, the FINA Family has good reasons to celebrate:
our Sport is growing in the five continents, attracting more athletes, more organisers and more
spectators.
I would take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the National Member Federations and
Organisers of this FINA Diving Grand Prix 2015. Their professionalism, efficiency and support are key
factors to the success of this event.
Good luck to all the participants in the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2015 and the best to win!
Dr. Julio C. Maglione

The 21st FINA DIVING GRAND PRIX (“DGP”) shall be open to all FINA affiliated Federations.

prelims of an individual event but only two (2) can advance to the semi-finals. The Host Federation may
enter two (2) teams in the direct final of a synchro event but only the best team may go to the podium for
the medals. No additional divers or teams are allowed to start in a DGP meet, which means that participation
in the form of exhibition is not allowed.
3. Judges
A Federation taking part in FINA DGP meet with a team of four (4) divers or more should bring a judge: the
judge might, however, also serve as coach provided that does not concern the event he/she is judging. A
