Villa Trara , located in one of the most beautiful area of the hill town of Ravello, is immersed in a
300 square meters of private, flat garden and guarantees an oasis of privacy and peacefulness
, with the convenience of being in close proximity to the main square of Ravello and all its
facilities.
The garden is an explosion of green with the typical shrubs and bushes of the Mediterranean
scrub, with tall olive trees, lemon trees and vineyards which provide many shaded areas and
relaxation areas near the building. The garden is covered with a beautiful green lawn and
embellished with a rich assortment of herbs and colourful, fragrant flowers. There are sunbeds and
deckchairs in the garden for those wishing to relax in the sun, savouring the pleasure of the sea
breeze and enjoying the splendid and incomparable view of the sea and of the coastline .
The view of the sea is visible from virtually every corner of the house and, especially, from the
garden and the upper terrace
The house is simply furnished but with attention to detail to guarantee the best possible comfort to
the guests. The entire flooring throughout the property is made of traditional cotto.
It is a property suitable for those wishing to relax, immersing themselves in the coastal atmosphere
without, however, forgoing visits to the many characteristic villages and towns like Amalfi,
Positano, Sorrento , Pompei, Capri etc
Accommodation : The total area of the villa , spread out over two levels , is 230 sqm indoor and
300 sqm meters of outdoor area consisting of terraces and gardens with wide panoramic views of
the Amalfi Coast and the sea.
Ground floor:
The villa has two floors. The entrance to the ground floor opens into an entrance hall leading to :
dining room , leaving area , fully-equipped kitchen, full bathroom , toilet room and a laundry
room
The dining room is paved with cotto tiles . The room includes a dining table sitting ten people,
two comfortable armchairs placed around a working fireplace.
An open archway leads to a large sitting room which includes two-seater divans , two armchairs,
a flat screen satellite TV.
Both the dining room and the living room have large French doors leading onto an attractive
portico facing directly on to the garden . The portico runs along the whole front of the house and is
covered in terracotta tiles . The portico
has been set up for outdoor meals and provides a
relaxation area with coffee table , comfortable wickerwork sofa and armchairs.
Off the sitting room there is a very well equipped modern kitchen including a five -burner gas
cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave , an Italianstyle coffee-maker and other small appliances. From the kitchen there is a door onto the patio
with a broad view of the sea and of the coastline below.
Also on this floor can also be found a bathroom equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a
shower , a separate toilet room and a laundry area with a washing machine, iron and ironing
board.
Upper floor:
A wooden staircase ( 19 steps ) from the entrance hall leads to the upper floor .
It houses the night area, made up of 5 warm and cozy double bedrooms, three full bathrooms ,
a shower room and a wide terrace of 40 square meters. From the terrace guests can enjoy an
enchanting view of the garden , of the sea and of the coastline in the distance.


Access: You enter the property through a private path . You then go down a flight of approx 60
small steps leading you directly onto the terrace/garden area off which there is a large wooden
door, being the main entrance to the house

VISITOR'S TAX : to be paid locally in cash: min. Euro 4,00 - max. Euro 4,50 (children under 16
years of age are exempt). Visitor's tax will discounted during the year: from April 1st to May 31st
and October= 50% off; from November 1st to March 31st= 70% off; from June 1st to September
30th= the entire tax.
Distances: The property is strategically positioned only 300 meters from the picturesque main
square of the town , called Piazza Vescovado. In a few minutes it is possible to reach a selection
of local restaurants , designer shops and open air cafés .
The stop for the SITA bus that goes from Ravello to Amalfi and other towns on the Amalfi Coast.is
just steps away from the main square.
From the quay of Amalfi, ferries and hydrofoils ply between the towns of Positano, Sorrento,
Naples and Salerno and the islands of Capri and Ischia ( This service operates during AprilOctober).
