Not Acceptable (throw away as trash):
No candy wrappers, food waste, soiled paper plates,
plastic bags, plastic food wrappers, plastic utensils,
used paper towels, used tissue or napkins, soaked wet
paper, carbon paper, photographs, paper with waxed
coatings, dirt and other trash

Commingled Containers:
Rinsed and free of
contaminants, place in your recycle bin, trash barrel with
recycle sticker, blue or clear plastic recycle bags, you don’t
need to remove labels or lids, flatten container to make room
in the recycling truck.

plastic material-look at bottom to identify the number):

Not Acceptable Glass:
No ceramic
No drinking glasses/stemware
No heat resistant ovenware
No light bulbs
No mirror
No porcelain cups & plates
No windowpane glass
Acceptable Metals:
Aluminum cans
Aluminum pie tins
Foil (clean)
Steel (tin & soup cans)
Non-Acceptable Metal: Any item that had
contained toxic or hazardous material
No aerosol cans
No gasoline cans
No paint cans
