Formed in 1982, the Repercussions
(a.k.a. the Reapers) draw membership
primarily from alumni of local collegiate marching bands, including UC
Davis, UC Berkeley, and Stanford
University. Most Reapers are not fulltime professional musicians, though
our skill and experience together is
evident in our performance. Our
careers range from educators to
Silicon Valley engineers to toxic
waste specialists. What unites us is
our love of performing dynamic and
lively music to appreciative audiences.
With a membership of more than 80
musicians, we can tailor our band to
your specific needs. Not strictly a
marching band, the Reapers are very
mobile—we don't need a PA system
or a stage. Our performances are ideally scheduled in two sets to extend
your entertainment, however show
times can be easily adapted to fit your
event, and our fees are reasonable.
