Texaco Antifreeze and Summer Coolant

Texaco Antifreeze and Summer Coolant
Cost-efficient, reduced-toxicity year-round bitterantcontaining engine coolant concentrate
Customer benefits
Economical reduced-toxicity performance
Formulated with Carboxylate technology, combined with carefully selected
inhibitors and a highly effective bitterant, this product is designed to offer reduced
toxicity when compared with traditional antifreeze/coolants. This reduced-toxicity
nitrate, amine and phosphate-free coolant delivers cost-efficient, reliable and robust
year-round system protection. It prevents boil-over in high temperature driving
situations and resists damaging frost and freeze-up, down to –69°C.
This highly reliable coolant delivers excellent corrosion resistance, offering
complete system-wide protection to both ferrous and non-ferrous engine
components.
High-reliability system protection
Texaco Antifreeze and Summer Coolant is a highly miscible product and can be
easily mixed with water. This high performance product offers excellent hard
water stability.
Texaco Antifreeze and Summer Coolant provides good seal protection,
preventing leaks and fluid loss.
Applications
• Texaco Antifreeze and Summer Coolant provides year-round frost and corrosion
protection. It is recommended to use in at least 33 vol. % of Texaco Antifreeze
and Summer Coolant in the coolant solution. This provides frost protection to
-20°C. Concentrations higher than 70 vol. % are not recommended; maximum
frost protection (about -69°C) is obtained at a concentration of 68 vol. %.
