APGovernmentismoredirectlyrelatedtocurrenteventsthananycourseyouwilltakeinhigh
school.Everythingthatwewillstudyrelatestohowpoliticsandgovernmentworksinmodern
America.Accordingly,knowledgeofcurrentpoliticalandgovernmentalaffairswillsignificantly
helpyoutounderstandthethingswestudy,andwill,infact,benecessarytosucceedinthis
course.Ifyouknowwhatisgoingoninthecountrywithrespecttopoliticsandgovernment,you
willdobetterinthecourse.

entertaininganalysisofhowthegameofpoliticsisplayedintheUnitedStates.Itisintendedtoencourage
youtodevelopaninterestinthegreaton-goingpageantofAmericanpolitics,whichyouwillalsobe
followinginyourobservationofcurrentevents.
Writea3-5pagepaper(typed,double-spaced,12font,reasonablemargins)onthe
