If you Google for “date of creation”, you will receive 13 million hits from every nation
under heaven. Far too many to read, and every person seems to have their own personal view on
the subject. One says, “I think that, during the seven days of creation, God buried dinosaur
bones just to test our faith in the King James Bible.” Another says, “I think the 7 days were 1000
years each or 7000 years each.” This would mean the plants created and blossomed in the third
day did not have bees to pollinate them until the fifth day, 2,000 years or 14,000 years later.
None of them seem able to take the seven days literally. Why is that?
The text says that “in the beginning” the heavens and earth were created and somehow
became in need of light, and there was light on the first day. Then it speaks of creating a calendar
on the fourth day. A calendar depends upon having the sun, moon and stars in certain positions,
and it is likely that the moon, on the fourth day, was in conjunction (between the sun and earth)
on the fourth day because Adam was created on the sixth day, when he could see the first slither
of the moon on the first day of the seventh month, on Tishri 1). Maimonides, in his Mishneh
Torah, says Adam was created on Friday, the sixth day of creation week, on the first day of the
Tishri (Rosh Hashana), and the five previous days were during the last year of chaos.
Another clue is from Josephus, the first century Levite historian that Herod captured
Jerusalem in 37 BC, in a sabbatical year (Antiquities, 15.1.16 {475}). This would mean that the
period from creation to 37 BC should be divisible by seven or 49 as in TABLE 1:

Three Views on
Exodus
It is known that something happened to destroy the dinosaurs. Perhaps a massive comet hit
the earth’s surface down to its mantel and caused an awesome volcano to erupt and spew black
dust clouds around the globe, which blocked out the sun and created a winter everywhere and
killing all life.
Whatever it was, Genesis 1:1-2 says the world became “without form and void”, that is, in a
state of darkness, death and complete chaos and covered by the sea. Before the years of chaos,
the world produced grass and grain in the spring, in the beginning of the year, and fruit in the
fall, at the end of the year. Archaeologists who examine the contents of stomachs buried with
the bones have undoubtedly observed this. Animals were not all meat eaters. The Alpha &
Omega of the Higher Realm became the High Priest who provided the bread and wine (Rev
22:13; I John 1:1-3).
When was the last year of this world in chaos? Every scholar seems to have his or her own
date, and none seem to agree. The Hebrew calendar says the seven days of creation began on
Monday, October 7, 3761 BC, but they omitted 196 years (4 jubilees http://code251.com/6000year-chart.pdf ).

Adam’s Flood much like Noah’s Flood
The last year of chaos ended much like Noah’s flood ended. The waters descended until the
ground and grass appeared (Gen 1:2-10). Noah sent out doves to bring back signs of vegetation.
Finally, one brought back an olive leaf.
Next, the calendar was restored. The sun and moon were likely in conjunction (in
alignment) on the fourth day, and Adam and Eve likely observed the new moon during the
evening of the sixth day of creation. NASA explains that the first slither of the new moon is
visible about two days after the earth, moon and sun are in conjunction.
After the flood was removed, Adam was told to replenish or repopulate the earth (Gen
1:28) just as Noah was told to repopulate or replenish the earth in Genesis 9:1.
3957 BC begins a 19-year and 49-year cycles
Using the above calendar converters, year one after Adam (at least until Noah’s flood)
would have begun with the new moon close to the spring equinox, March 21, 3957 BC and the
first fruits of the grain harvest would be during the next full moon.
The years before and after 3957 BC could be labeled as follows:
3957 BC, Year 7 begins in the spring and ends in the fall: the last year of chaos with a jubilee year
beginning in the fall of the seventh year (Lev 25:9). The Jubilee (year 1 of the next 49) would
begin a jubilee cycle (49 x 19) until Adam’s death in his 931st year. It would also start a 19-year
cycle (19 x 49) until Adam’s death in his 931st year (book of Jubilees).
3957 BC would also start a 19-year cycle until the era of Nabonassar in 747 BC (19 x 169 =
3211 before 747 BC) (3957 BC – 747 BC = 3211 inclusive).
3957 BC would also begin a 19-year cycle (19 x 169 = 4579) until 622 AD, the beginning of
Arab/Islamic calendar (3957 BC to 622 AD = 4579) (19 x 241 = 4579).
3950 Year 7 Sabbatical (19 x 10 before 3760 BC, the Jewish date of creation & its 19-year
cycle).
3761 BC begins 19-year and 49-year cycles
From Josephus, the famous Jewish historian, we learn that Herod captured Jerusalem in a
sabbatical year, in 37 BC. This date should merge with the Jewish date of creation in 3761 BC,
and it does. 3761 BC minus 37 BC equals 3724 (49 times 76). This period also equals 19 jubilees
times 4 or 4 jubilees times 19. Therefore, a new Jewish calendar in 3761 BC would logically
begin new cycles for the sabbaticals, jubilees and 19 years.
This implies a motive for the Jews subtracting four jubilees (196 years) between 3957 BC
and 3761 BC. They removed 60 years between Abraham and his father and 136 years from their
date for Solomon’s temple (968 – 832 = 136 years) (136 + 60 = 196 years).
A New Beginning
We don’t know how many years before year 1 the first year of chaos began. One theory says
that the creation in Genesis 1:1 is probably a million years before the creation mentioned in
Genesis 1:2 and is called the “gap theory”. This would be labeled “year 1 minus 1,000,000”.
About all we know is that we find very little about the years before “year 1 minus 1” in the
Bible.
If you Google for “the biblical gap theory”, you receive 312,000 hits, which indicate there is
considerable variety of opinion on the topic.
Another view is that the world has always been and will always be ruled by an evil spirit,
that is, until the Higher Realm intervenes to judge each person to see if he or she has chosen the
good instead of the bad even with or without the Law.
When will this be? Before speculation on the end, we need to find the beginning. My
research on “The Age of the Universe” is found here: http://code251.com/ageofuniverse.html
My view is that, beginning on March 21, 3957 BC, the last year of chaos began a new era of
days, weeks, moons, years, sabbaticals, jubilees and the 19-year cycle.
1. Days and weeks: These first days and first week began on Sunday, September 6 (on the
Gregorian calendar, that is, Sunday, October 6, 3957 BC on the Julian calendar).
2. Months: Adam became human on the sixth day, Friday, September 11, on the first day of
the seventh new moon (Tishri 1).
In contrast, the Hebrew calendar dates creation as Monday, October 7, 3761 BC on the
Julian calendar. So, the Hebrew calendar starts every year, thereafter, in the fall.
3. Sabbaticals and Jubilees: The Hebrew calendar places Adam 196 years (4 jubilees) later, in
3761 BC. This view omits 196 years (4 jubilees http://code251.com/6000-year-chart.pdf ).
Jewish chronology subtracts 60 years between Abraham and his father and subtracts another
136 years for the date of Solomon’s temple (832 BC instead of 968 BC) (136 + 60 = 196).
4. 3957 began a new 19-year cycle (19 x 169 before 747 BC, the era of Nabonassar) (19 x
241 before 622 AD, the Arab/Islamic calendar). Adam died in the 49th 19-year cycle (the 931st
year). Noah lived 50 19-year cycles (950 years).
50-Year Jubilees?
One view I’ve devised has 50-year jubilees beginning in 3957 BC and repeating every 50
years, such as in 1407 (when Joshua crossed the Jordan), and in 1107 (after 300 years, when
Jepthah became judge), and in 457 BC (when Ezra allegedly left Babylon for Jerusalem), and the
jubilee would repeat in 44, 1844 (2300 years after 457 BC), 1944, 1994 and 2044 AD depending
on whether years begin every year in the fall or spring. This is likely why some had predicted
Christ would return to fight Hitler and Mussolini in 1944-45. Some Adventists and Seventh Day
Baptists held the 50-year view of the Jubilees.
2044 AD (year 6,000) is four jubilees prior to the Jewish date for year 6,000 (in 2240 AD)
49-Year Jubilees
However, 2022 is 122 jubilees after 3957 BC. This agrees with the book of Jubilees and
coincides with the temple in 968 BC and 520 BC and 331 BC (when Alexander allowed
sabbaticals tax free), 135, and 37 BC (when Herod conquered Jerusalem) and in 1189 (first year
of Leo de Lionhearted), 1973 and 2022 AD, in the fall of the 49th years. The last jubilee is in
2022 AD (22 years before year 6000 in 2044 AD) because 6000 divided by 49 has a remainder
of 22.
Again, 2044 is 196 years (4 jubilees) before 2240 AD, the Jews’ date for year 6000.

Another New Beginning
Daniel’s exposure to the Babylonian calendar and the Higher Realm implies there is another new
beginning, a future 490 years and a future 3½ years in the writings of Daniel and Revelation.
These units of time suggest a jubilee cycle began with Daniel’s captivity in Babylon, in 604 BC, in
Nebuchadnezzar’s first year, and repeated in 457 BC (when Ezra returned from Babylon to Jerusalem). It
repeated in 34 AD (3½ years after the crucifixion, when Stephen was stoned and Paul was sent to the
nations) and repeated in 132 AD (when the two million Jews tried to oust the Roman occupiers and take
their land back), 1994 AD (49 x 50 after 457 BC) and repeated in 2043 AD, 196 years (4 jubilees) before
the Jews’ year 6,000.
The Last Jubilee
By counting from creation in 3957 BC, a jubilee would have been in 625 BC, 21 years before Daniel’s
captivity in 604 BC.
Likewise, 2043 AD is 21 years after 2022 AD.
Moreover, if 6000 is divided by 49, there is a remainder of 22; therefore, the last 49-year jubilee would
arrive 22 years earlier than year 6000 in 2044 AD, that is, in 2022/23 AD, and also 22 years earlier than
the last 50-year jubilee in 2044 AD.
Proposed Solution
What is the solution to this paradox?
2022 aligns with the known jubilee in 1189 AD, when Richard de Lionhearted was crowned 21 days
before the jubilee, at the outset of the Third Crusade.
(Source: page 53, A Treatise on the Sabbatical Cycle and the Jubilee, a Contribution to the Archaeology and
Chronology of the Time Anterior and Subsequent to the Captivity, translated from the German of Dr.
Benedict Zuckermann, Professor at the Jewish Theological Seminary, Breslau, pub 1866, ISBN
0-87203-044-X).
1189 AD aligns with both dates for creation, 3761 BC and 3957 BC. This suggests that
further research should become associated with these dates.

Background info for understanding this table
This chart illustrates the relationship between three dates for creation, that is, the Samaritan
(4202 BC), the Masoretic (3957 BC) and the Rabbinic (3761 BC) views.
Note that the proposed Samaritan date of creation (4202 BC) is five jubilees before the
proposed Masoretic date (3957 BC), and 3957 is four jubilees before the rabbinic date of creation in
(3761 BC).
What is more, the proposed Samaritan date (4202) is 2793 years (57 jubilees) before the spring
sabbatical and fall jubilee in 1409 BC (two years before Joshua’s conquest in 1407 BC. 1409 is 441
years (9 jubilees) before the temple (968 BC). Again, this concept is endorsed by Archbishop Ussher
when he says the first sabbatical was in the 5th year after Joshua crossed the Jordan, when Caleb was
85 (Annals p 53) (Josh 14:10). The first jubilee was the 54th year (49+5). The second jubilee was the
103rd year (98 + 5). The third jubilee was the 152nd year (147 + 5). However, the cycle should have
been 7 years earlier, two years before Joshua crossed the Jordan, when counting from creation.
Ussher missed this point.
Moreover, the Samaritan date of creation (4202 BC) would be 245 + 196 = 441 years (9 jubilees)
before the rabbinic date of creation (3761 BC).
One source of confusion stems from the Samaritan belief that sabbaticals and jubilees began
with Joshua crossing the Jordan, two years after a jubilee counted from creation.
In calculating the year in which sabbaticals began, the book of Jubilees, chapter 15, says, “…the
cloud was lifted up on the first (day) of the first month, of the first year of the first period of seven
years of the Jubil (Jubilee) even from the beginning of the entering in of the children of Israel…”
Allegedly, sabbaticals began forty years after the exodus. Thus, the temple was founded 439
years after Joshua crossed the Jordan, that is, 479 years after the exodus (I Kings 6:1). Therefore,
since 439 years are not evenly divisible by 7, the temple would not be founded in a sabbatical or
jubilee year. The fall of the 441st year would be a jubilee.
439 years before the temple, Joshua crossed the Jordan to conquer the land, in the first month,
in the spring, when the manna stopped, and the harvesting cycles began.
Chapter 15 of the Samaritan Book of Joshua says, “The children of Israel did as the king
commanded them. And the cloud (which followed the Israelites 40 years) was lifted up, on the first
(day) of the first month, of the first year of the first period of seven years of the Jubil (Jubilee) even
from the beginning of the entering in of the children of Israil within the boundaries of the assigned
lands.” http://thesamaritanupdate.com/
Confusion has also evolved from a lack of research on sabbatical and jubilee cycles a lack of
insight gained from my recent discovery of the 251, 427, 49 and 166-year patterns. From the exodus
to the temple, time is usually understood as being about 251 years, 479 years or 590 years depending
on whether or not we include the 111 years of oppression, 339 years of judges or 450 years for both
(as in Acts 13:20).

The rabbinic view has 17 jubilees (850 years) from the year Joshua crossed the Jordan in 1272 BC until
the temple was burned allegedly in 422 BC, 166 years after it had actually burned after 588 BC. However, the
jubilee cycle allegedly began in 1258 BC, 14 years after Joshua’s conquest, and the jubilee allegedly repeated
14 years after the temple burned in 422 BC (that is, in 408 BC). 490 years later, in 69-70 AD, the temple
burned again, and a jubilee again occurred 14 years later, in 83 AD and in 132 AD during the Bar Kochba
Revolt against Rome. Therefore, the jubilees repeated every 50 years in each century years, such as in BC 458
and BC 408 but continued every 49 years after 408 BC. It continues thereafter in each century year AD 34
(BC 408 to AD 34 = 441 years) and repeats in AD 83 (34 + 49 = 83) and repeats in 132 AD (83 + 49 = 132).
In the Masoretic view, there are apparently both 49-year and 50-year jubilees. Beginning in 3957 BC,
they repeat in 1409 BC, 968 BC (when the first temple was founded), 429 BC, 331 and 37 BC. Beginning in
3957 BC, they also repeat in 1407, 1107, 457 and 407 BC.
The Samaritan text has 2794 years to the death of Moses perhaps in 1408 BC.
Last but not least, the Greek LXX (Septuagint) has Noah’s birth 1656 years after Adam instead of the
flood being in year 1656. The Greek flood, therefore, would be in 2256 years after Adam as found in
Josephus’ Antiquities, page 851 of William Whiston’s translation published in 1987.
574 – 408 = 166 421 – 14 = 407
Careful study of the above tables should help other researchers conclude that 3957 BC, in the Masoreh
text and King James version, is the original date of creation, which was altered by the other two by simply
adding 5 jubilees to or by subtracting 4 jubilees from 3957 BC.
There seems to be sufficient evidence that much effort has applied to corrupt the simple, original 49-year
pattern since the time of Adam in 3957 BC by injecting a new beginning in the time of Joshua in 1407 BC.
Nevertheless, 1407 BC does align with known jubilees in 966, 868, 721, 623 and 574 BC. More research is
needed.
Adam
Jubilees before the time of Joshua
Sabbaticals and jubilees are generally counted from the time Joshua crossed the Jordan 1757 to Babel
= 251 x 7
river in conquest of the Promised Land. Probably the best evidence for beginning the cycles
with Adam is illustrated in the chart on the right.
251 to Abraham
According to the Masoreh text (& King James version), the nations were dispersed
100 to Isaac
from Babel when Peleg was born 1757 years (251 sabbaticals) after Adam.
60 to Jacob
After Babel, add 251 years to Abraham, 100 to Isaac, 60 to Jacob 91 to Joseph, and 37
years to the end of the seven years of plenty in Egypt (2259 + 37 = 2296 years after Adam).
91 to Joseph
After the dispersion, this equals 539 years (or 77 sabbaticals or 11 jubilees). The seven bad
30 to Joseph age 30
crop years would then end (2259 +44 = 2303 years) (329 sabbaticals or 49 jubilees) after
7 good yrs. end
Adam.
539 = 7 x 77
Counting from the dispersion, Abraham was born after another 251 years (2008 years
= 49 x 11
after Adam). Abraham would have been 251 (100 + 60 + 91 = 251) if he had lived until
Joseph’s birth (2259 years after Adam), and Joseph was 37 after the seven good crop years
in Egypt. After the dispersion, these figures equal 539 years, that is, 77 sabbaticals or 11
jubilees (251 + 251 +37 = 539).
Jubilees from the time of Shem
Other chronologists count from the time of Noah’s son, Shem, who was 98 years (2 jubilees) old at the
flood, which was three years before the next sabbatical. Therefore, the rabbinical and Samaritan idea was to
subtract three years by having 70 years between Abraham and his father instead of having 130. This would
reduce the period 60 years but would give Shem 98 years to the flood, Abraham 292 years after the flood, 100
more years to Isaac’s birth (98 + 292 + 100 = 490 = 10 jubilees).
Summary
To summarize, here is what we can observe:
1. In the Hebrew Masoreh text, Noah’s flood is in the year 1656 A.M. (After Man) (1056+600=1656).
In the Hebrew Samaritan text, Noah dies in the 1657th year A.M. (707 + 600 + 350 = 1657 years).
In the Greek LXX text, Noah is born in the year 1656, the flood is in 2256, and he dies in the year 2606
(1656 + 600 + 350 = 2606 years).
Noah’s birth is in 1056 A.M. in one version, which is 251 years before the flood in 1307 A.M. in another
version. These three versions differ by 950 years (600 years to the flood + 350 years after the flood to Noah’s
death). 950 years are equal to 50 19-year cycles or 19 50-year jubilees.
2. The fall of Babel and dispersion of the tribes were 427 x 4 (1708 years) after Adam in one version and
251 x 7 (1757 years) in another version. These versions differ exactly 49 years.
3. There are 427 x 7 years from Adam to the temple (3957 BC – 968 BC = 2989 years).
4. After Babel, Abraham’s calling at age 75 was 427 years after the flood and 427 years before the exodus
(which Ussher claimed was 430 years).
Abraham’s first calling in Ur was 430 years before the exodus as in Exodus 12:41 and Acts 7:2.
5. After the exodus, Joshua crossed the Jordan in 1272 BC in one version and in 1408 BC in another
version (1408 – 1272 = 136 years).
6. There are 1656 years to the flood (1708 – 52) and 479 years from the exodus to the temple (427 + 52) and
there are 502 (251 x 2) from the fall of Babylon in 539 BC to when Herod captured Jerusalem in 37 BC during a
sabbatical year, which brings us down to the time of Herod (the dragon) and Caesar (the beast) of Revelation.
These tried to devour a “Man-child” after he was born in Bethlehem.

If Adam became human in 3957 BC, this would be four jubilees before 3761 BC, the date the Hebrew
calendar says Adam was created. In this case, a jubilee would be in 1409 BC, two years before Joshua
crossed the Jordan in his conquest of the Promised Land. 1409 would be 9 jubilees (441 years) before
Solomon founded the temple in 968 BC. Alexander allowed the Jewish land sabbaticals without paying
taxes after 331 BC, and Herod captured Jerusalem in 37 BC, in a sabbatical year. These dates align with
both versions for Adam.
In contrast, Archbishop James Ussher in his Annals of the World said the jubilees began seven years later,
that is, after the five years of conquest, when the land was finally distributed to the Israelites west of the
Jordan, that is, when Caleb was 85. Caleb was 40 when he was among the Israelite scouts exploring the
Promised Land in the second year after the exodus.
From this, we can conclude that Ussher did not count jubilees from the time of Adam nor from the
crossing of the Jordan. He began the cycle after the first five years of conquering the land.
Therefore, Ussher thought Solomon’s temple was dedicated nine jubilees (441 years) after the first five
years, after he had built it for seven years. He thought David’s first year was in the previous jubilee year, 49
years earlier.
If Ussher had counted from creation, he would have placed a jubilee two years before Joshua’s
conquest and another jubilee 441 years later, when Solomon founded the temple in his fourth year.
968 would be a jubilee when counting from creation in 3957 BC or when counting from the Jewish
date of creation in 3761 BC.

Others count the jubilees from the time of Joshua’s conquest in 1407 BC. This places a jubilee 441
years later, in 966 BC, two years after Solomon founded the temple in 968 BC. However, 968 was a
Sabbatical/jubilee if, as Josephus said, 37 BC was a Sabbatical when Herod conquered Jerusalem. These
align with 1409, 3761 and 3957 BC.
If Adam were in 3957 BC, the temple would have been founded in 968 BC, after 2989 years (427 x 7)
Adam, and, from this, the last jubilee in 6000 years would be in 2022 AD, after another 2989 years.
In contrast, in the Hebrew calendar, exodus was in 1312 BC, and the conquest was in 1272 BC, 17
jubilees (850 years) before the temple burned in 422 BC. However, their actual jubilee cycles began 14 years
later, in 1258 BC and fell in the year 458 and 408 BC in the fall of the sabbatical years. This version is
responsible for also having jubilees in 34, 83 and 132 AD. 83 AD is 14 years after the temple was burned in
70 AD just as 574 BC was 14 years after the temple burned at the end of the sabbatical of 588 BC (Ezek
40:1).
In this version, Paul was called in a jubilee year, 34 AD, 14 years before traveling to the Jerusalem
conference in 48-49 AD. Another jubilee was in 132 AD, when Bar Kochba led two million to revolt
against the Roman occupiers to take back their land, which Joshua had given them after his conquest ended
in 1402 BC, and one was in 622 AD, when the Islamic calendar began
In one version, there were 49-year jubilees 604, 457, 408 BC and 34, 83, 132 and 2043 AD.
In another version, there were 50-year jubilees from 3957, 1407, 1107, 457 and 408 BC, and they
continued as 49-year jubilees after 457 and 408 BC and in 34, 83, 132 and 2043 AD.
