ASSOCIATION OF THE ARTS First, second and third place awards will be presented by the Georgia State Council in each division. An award certificate will be presented each year for "Best of Show". "Best of Show" is determined by the highest number of points awarded by judges. If there is a tie, the judges will collaborate to determine the winner. Rules for judging and divisions are as follows: 1. All participants must be active members of the Georgia State Council, Epsilon Sigma Alpha International. 2. All interested individuals must file an entry form with the Georgia State Council’s Association of the Arts Chairman postmarked by April 15th in order to participate. Entry forms will be provided by the State Awards Director . It will be the responsibility of each artist who enters her work to arrange its transportation both to and from convention. No items are to be mailed prior to the convention. Items not claimed by the close of the convention become the property of the Georgia State Council and will not be returned to the Artist. 3. 4. Each artist is limited to two (2) works for each division to be exhibited during the designated times. 5. Although security precautions will be enforced, please remember we are not covered by casualty insurance should damages or theft occur. 6. Graphics, painting, drawings, calligraphy and photography must be framed or matted, ready for exhibit. 7. Each entry will be given an individual number and will be judged using numbers only to determine the winner. 8. Items must be the original work of the artist during the current sorority year. 9. Previous winning entries cannot be re-entered. 10. Association of the Arts is judged at divisions level awarding first, second, third place for each division.
