Dr. Seuss Day, Wednesday, March 2nd
Drop in to the kids’ room for crafts, activities and read-alouds all day!
Pancakes and Pajamas Night! Monday, March 7th, 5:00-6:00 PM
Come in your pajamas and enjoy family friendly stories along with hot, fresh
pancakes topped with fruit.
Simons and Goodwin in Concert, Sunday, March 13th, 2:00 PM
Join us for a free performance by Simons & Goodwin, who will be
performing their particular brand of acoustic music with intricate arrangments, tight expression, and beautiful harmonies. While primarily a folk duo,
Simons & Goodwin can treat country, old rock, jazz and blues standards with
similar musical skill. According to one audience member, "There is a warmth
that comes through their songs and it makes you feel like you're listening to
old friends."
Teen Random Fandom, Monday, March 14th & Monday, March 28th, 2:30-4:00 PM
Fans in grades 6-12 of the anime Naruto, join us on March
14th to watch and discuss the series, and then come on out
on March 28th, when our chosen fandom will be The Flash.
Enjoy crafts and snacks and help decide which fandoms we’ll
focus on next time!
Tech Time, Each Thursday, 2:30-3:30 PM
Just starting out with a phone or tablet? Need some help attaching a document to
your email account? Our staff will be on hand to assist you with your
technology questions.
Knitting Time, Each Friday, 10:00 AM
Join us for social knitting time. First time knitting? No problem. We can help
you get started!

Story Time Programs
Family Story Time, Mondays,
6:30-7:00 PM
Bring the whole family for fun stories,
rhymes, music & movement and other
fun activities dictated by the developmental level of those in attendance.
Baby & Me, Tuesdays, 10:00-10:20 AM
An interactive lap sit program for babies 0-18 months and
their caregivers. Introduce your baby to the wonderful
world of books through songs, rhymes and adult/child book
sharing time.
Toddler Time, Wednesdays, 10:00-10:30 AM
A language enrichment program geared for children 18-36
months. Join us for beginning story books, rhymes and music
& movement activities.
Preschool Story Time, Thursdays, 10:00-10:45 AM
A language enrichment program geared for children 3-6 years
old. Join us for stories, rhymes, music & movement activities,
crafts and more!

Teen Programs
Teen Lounge, Tuesdays, 2:30-4:30 PM
Teens in grades 6-12, drop in after school for
crafts, video games, laptop computers and to
relax with friends in the community room.
Teen Random Fandom, Mondays,
March 14th & 28th, 2:30-4:00 PM
Come discuss and geek out about your
favorite imaginary worlds from books, TV and
movies and enjoy crafts and snacks related to
them. Help decide what fandoms we’d like to
focus on for upcoming meetings. All teens in
grades 6-12 are welcome!
Book Ninjas Book Group

Avid readers in grades 6-12 are invited to our
monthly teen book group. Pick from a large
selection of advanced reader copies of new
books, enjoy great snacks and talk about
whatever you’ve been reading.

early 1900s where a little girl named Francie dreamily looks out her window at a tree struggling to reach the sky.

White Dog Fell from the Sky by Eleanor Lincoln Morse
A portrait of 1970s Botswana is told through the intertwined stories of three people, including a medical student
who is forced to flee apartheid South Africa after witnessing a murder and an American Ph.D. student who
abandons her studies to follow her husband to Africa.
