International Sales Catalyst
African Clean Energy is looking for an energetic and adventurous person who will travel through our growing
markets to catalyse the local sales teams, communicate strategy and connect networks. This full time contract
involves consistent travel for at least the first 6 months, training in house and in the field and requires someone who
loves to travel, explore new markets and who isn’t afraid to lead workshops, communicate clearly and find potential
partners in developing countries.
African Clean Energy (ACE) is a global company, with our head office based in Amsterdam and our flagship factory in
Lesotho, aimed at providing modern household energy solutions to people in Sub-Saharan Africa and elsewhere in
the developing world. ACE is the producer of the ACE 1: an advanced cookstove which reduces smoke emissions to
negligible levels. The ACE 1 is among the most high-tech stoves currently available, providing cleaner energy than
the vast majority of products on the market as well as offering nano-grid solar electricity for mobile phone charging
and LED lighting. This has potentially transformative impact on health, the environment, poverty, energy access and
gender equality.
With many exciting partnerships (GACC, BMW foundation, Rabobank etc.), awards (Forbes top 30 under 30,
Accenture Innovation Awards finalist, GSBI Cohort) and achievements, ACE provides a truly exciting opportunity for
global change.
