Small Dishes
Using the skills that you have developed in art, create your own landscape of the
Solar system. Set out your image and then focus on aspects such as shading, line
and tone. You should work in pencil for this task, using drawing pencils rather than
colour.
Large Plates
Plan your own advertising for our Space game event. You could make up an advert,
or create an advertising poster. You need to have planned information such as
date, time and use images.
Create your own timeline of events from Space in the past including different
astronauts and flights. You will need to use research to find out information, and
then place them with dates on a timeline in the correct chronological order.
Create your own research project into a planet from our Solar system. You will
need to gather key facts and information and produce an information leaflet.
Put yourself in the shoes of an astronaut who is travelling to space. Write a diary
entry that recounts your experiences. Use your thinking about Other People’s
Views to help put yourself in the shoes of what it would be like for the astronaut.
Create your own design for a Space themed board game. You will need to plan
what the game is and how people will play it. Create a presentation that explains
the game to an audience.
