Desert Sports Volleyball is the valley’s premier program with over 400 athletes annually and nationally
competitive teams producing college athletes since 2005. We offer the finest training and coaching staff in a
beautiful, fully air-conditioned facility designed just for you. We are THE place in town to learn and play
offering sessions every week, all summer long!
Little Digs (Ages 6-8) A youth program to introduce simple games and skills for youngsters looking for a great place to
play and have fun. We cover all basic techniques with the goal of teaching younger players to play games in group settings.
Gold Spikers (Ages 9-11) Known as our “Academy” during the school year, Gold Spikers sessions are for elementary
aged athletes ready to start learning the game of volleyball. All skills are taught from serving, hitting, passing and learning
to play the game with 3-touches.
All Skills w/Elite (Ages 11-17) All Skills sessions are for every player from middle school and up and are designed to
promote significant skill improvement and game knowledge. Players of all skill level from beginner to advanced are welcome and will be broken out into groups to ensure maximum development.
SKill Clinics Clinics focus on a few specific skills and technical aspects of the game to help you better undersand and
develop proper habits. A healthy amount of game-play emphasizing the use of learned skills makes these both intensive
and highly competitive.
Double Impact Designed to ensure that all participants are trained and ready to perform all skills necessary to excel on
their school team or fall program. Emphasis on serving, proper arm-swing, passing and general ball-control in a fast paced,
game-like environment over two sessions daily, 9am-12pm and 1-4pm, both for only $195

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I acknowledge that volleyball, basketball, futsal or any sporting event is an extreme test of a person’s physical and mental limits and carries with
it the potential for death, serious injury or property loss. With a full understanding of the potential risks, I HEREBY ASSUME THE RISKS OF
PARTICIPATING IN OR OFFICIATING A SPORTING EVENT
I hereby take the following action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns: a) I waive, release and
discharge from any and all claims or liabilities for death or personal injury or damages of any kind, except that which is a result of gross negligence
and/or wanton misconduct of persons or entities listed below, which arise out of or are related to my participation in, or my traveling to and from
the volleyball event, the following persons or entities: Desert Sports Center; the program director,coaches, DSC Fitness & Performance, Desert
Sports Clubs of America, sponsors and affiliates; and the officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents of any of the above; b) I agree
not to sue any of the persons or entities mentioned above for any of the claims or liabilities that have waived, released or discharged herein; c) I
indemnify and hold harmless the persons or entities mentioned above from any claims made or liabilities assessed against them as a result of my
actions or participation.
I agree to allow Desert Sports Center to utilize my photograph or any likeness of me created from my participation in DSC Volleyball sanctioned
events or programs, without my approval in advance of such use, and without financial or other compensation due to me.
THE PLAYER IS UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE. THE PARENT/GUARDIAN HAS READ AND COMPLETED
THE SECTION BELOW. (If the applicant is under 18 years of age, a parent/guardian must execute, in addition to the foregoing Waiver and Release, the following, for and on behalf of the minor.) The undersigned Parent or Guardian (circle one) of (minor’s name) hereby executes the foregoing Waiver and Release for and on behalf of the minor named herein. I hereby bind myself, the minor and all other assigns to the terms of the
Waiver and Release. I represent that I have legal capacity and authority to act for and on behalf of the minor named herein, and I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the persons or entities mentioned above for any claims or liabilities assessed against them as a result of any insufficiency of
my legal capacity or authority to act for and on behalf of the minor in the execution of the Waiver and Release.
