Directions: Design and make a poster that shows all the skills we learned in
our Place Value Unit. Each item numbered below will be worth 5 points.
Your poster should include:
1. Place value chart (up to & including millions)
2. A 4-digit number, 5-digit number, 6-digit number,
7- digit number
3. Draw a picture of a number using cubes, flats, longs,
& units and include the number.
4. Write a 6-digit number in words.
5. Write a 5-digit number in words.
6. Write a 4-digit number in words.
7. Write a 6-digit number in expanded notation.
8. Write a 5 digit number in expanded notation.
9. Write a 4 digit number in expanded notation.
10. Round a number to the nearest 10,000.
11. Round a number to the nearest 1000.
12. Write four 6-digit numbers and put them from least
to greatest.
