We check the quality of the
mixture that goes into our
honey dough by following a
method already used by our
ancestors in 1757. A fresh
chicken’s egg is lowered into
the mixture prepared that
very same day. If the egg
remains on the surface of the
mixture and does not sink,
we know we have the right

Energy candles are hand-crafted from
natural bee’s wax of the species Apis
melifica carnica. The pollen is collected
in the Mediterranean and continental
Alps-Adriatic geographic region, which
is prized for its medicinal essential oils
and ingredients.
They are also one-of-a-kind, because
they do not need to be lit in order to
work. Because of its shape, the energy
candle vibrates and releases essential
oils, thus purifying your living area
and filling it with positive energy.
When using the energy candle, you
clean the space and improve people’s
well-being. It has a vibration that
develops into pure love and peace.
They contain a unique perfume that
is the result of the family‘s know-how.
In order to produce one litre of honey
perfume, as much as 800 kg of firstrate Slovenian honey is needed, which
is then used in other work processes
once the perfume has been prepared.

The energy candle for peace
– Triglav was presented to the
German President Joachim Gauck.
The family business Perger 1757 has a longstanding collaboration with the Protocol of the Republic of
Slovenia. Their products are handmade in the masterful-gingerbread-pastry-candle workshop with a
long tradition. The Slovenian arts and crafts products are high quality and meet the requirements of the
cultural-historical and ethnographic perspective. We were enthusiastic about all the products that we have been
introduced to during our cooperation. They are beautiful, packed in elegant packaging and suitable for a range of
gifts and opportunities. The gifts that we have presented as protocol gifts of the Republic of Slovenia have been
