Stages OF GRIEF

Stages OF GRIEF
There are 5 stages of grief, Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and
Acceptance. Denial is a stage where you feel very overwhelmed and meaningless.
You lost someone important and there is no way that you can forget about them.
Anger is where you are so angry that it is out of control. You want to hurt and get
angry at everything! Whether it’s a pet or an object, you are ready to scream.
Bargaining is a feeling where you think about all the “If’s” in life. You try to
protect yourself from the painful reality around you. Depression is a feeling that
has to do with death. Here are two types, one where you are brutal and regretful,
and the other where you are simply disappointed. You aren’t too happy but it is
easier to let go. The last stage is….Acceptance! This feeling comes from
depression, and you are nowhere near happy.
If you are sick or getting older, you usually have a period of time filled with
withdrawal. What you should have noticed is that all these stages are involved
with death, and are very hard to go through. Robin Williams, for instance, was
filled with depression, but he hid from it. He ended up becoming suicidal because
of how bad he felt. If someone ever feels like this you should encourage them to
see a doctor about it.
