Blizzard Bulletin Board

Create a winter
bulletin board
with a
snowman and
snowflakes that
the kids get to
decorate.
White boarder paper
Black, orange, light and dark blue and white construction paper
Glue
Scissors
Stapler and staples
Scrap pieces of fabric
Coffee filters
Depending on the age of the kids you can either pre-cut the snowflakes and snowman pieces or you can have the kids cut out the designs themselves.
Have each child help make the snowman by gluing on the eyes,
nose, hat, scarf, buttons, etc.
Have each child fold and cut their snowflake from the coffee filter
Write the child’s name and their favorite thing about winter on the
snowflake if you want.
Allow the kids to help you put the snowman and the snowflakes up
on the bulletin board
Title the board “Winter Frenzy” or “Blizzard of Fun” or “Brr feels
like a Blizzard.”
