Arts & Crafts, Drama, Sports, Nature and Friday PM Activities will focus on our weekly themes.
Week 1– June 23-27
Week 5 - July 21-25
THEME: DINOSAUR SAFARI
Did Dinosaurs ever walk the fern covered forests of
Camp Woodhaven? They will this week! Herbivores
and carnivores alike will track their way through all
our activities for the week. We will even create
volcanoes and dig for fossils.
WACKY WEDNESDAY:
Camouflage your clothes to make it easier to hunt
dinosaurs without being noticed.
THEME: BUGS, BATS, AND BEARS
What animals and insects can really found in the Camp
Woodhaven ecosystem? Who hangs out at camp at
night when the campers are gone? Break out your
magnifying glasses and get ready to search for scat
and animal tracks as we gather clues. You will go wild
for the games and crafts this week!
WACKY WEDNESDAY:
Go buggy and batty with your outfit. Turn a headband
into ears or antennae.

THEME: AMERICAN INNOVATION
THEME: FROZEN FRIEND-ZY
American innovation has been one of the things that

THEME: FURRY FRIENDS
Furry friends like dogs, cats, and rabbits are special
creatures that make us laugh and give us love. What
if our pets had camps to go to just like we do? What
games would they play? What would be difficult for
them? How would you design a camp for furry
friends? How are pets trained to do human things?
WACKY WEDNESDAY:
Dress like your favorite pet
Week 4 - July 14-18
THEME: CELEBRATING SPHERES
How many fantastically fun things can be done with a
sphere? Campers will not only be interacting with
bubbles, balls, and balloons, but also studying parts
of the earth like the atmosphere and biosphere.
WACKY WEDNESDAY:
Wear your green camp t-shirt to show your camp
pride!!
THEME: FORTS, FAIRIES & FOREST FANTASIES
The forest is a magical place to play in the summertime. If you love fort building or making adorable
homes for woodland fairies, this is the week for you.
WACKY WEDNESDAY:
Dress up as a fairy, gnome, Robinhood, or any other
forest loving creature
Week 8 - August 11-15
THEME: SUPER SOAKIN’ H 2O WEEK
Water is one of the most important resources on our
planet! Keep it cool this week with fabulous water activities, games, and science projects. Discuss all the
ways you can help preserve this precious resource!
WACKY WEDNESDAY:
Dress in your Hawaiian or beach clothes. Don’t forget
the sunscreen!
Week 9 - August 18-22
THEME: FAREWELL FIESTA!
Celebrate our wonderful summer together Mexican
style! Campers will create colorful Fiesta decorations.
There will be soccer, Capture the Maraca, and other
ELECTIVE ACTIVITIES
Woodhaven game favorites played with a Mexican twist.
Elective activities that correspond with the theme for
WACKY WEDNESDAY:
each week will be available for sign-up by June 1st.
