Helen’s 2/3 class presented their work on biodiversity at assembly today.
Himal: My food chain starts with the sun which gives energy to the grass,
which then gives energy to deer, which then gives energy to people, who
then give energy to mosquitoes that drink their blood.
Lucy:
My food chain starts with the sun which gives energy to

then gives energy to snakes, which then gives energy to
hawks.
Dylan: My food chain starts with berries that give energy to bears,
which then give energy to mosquitoes who drink their blood, that
then give energy to birds.
Louis: This is my food web. It shows different
food chains and how all of the living things are
interconnected.
Bodie: My food chain starts with the forest which gives
energy to mushrooms, which then give energy to squirrels,
which then give energy to cheetahs.
