Managed a team of 20 artists in the Mumbai Matchmove Department along with helping
respective managers in other locations such as Hyderabad (25 artists) and Taiwan (10 artists).
Worked closely and facilitated smooth communication with R&H’s different locations (Mumbai,
Hyderabad, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Kuala Lumpur and Taiwan) and their respective
departments along with their managers and coordinators.

Gather information about the upcoming project.
Make sure the required elements are available once a movie is awarded. Follow up has to be
done with the respective Manager, Supervisor, leads and technology, Pipeline department.
Coordinated with Leads and coordinators (Sequence and BgPrep) from other location to create
detailed schedules with short term, midterm and long term deadlines in terms of assignments
and planning or sending out reports especially when a show is split between locations.
Check the status of the shots every day and comments received by the Supervisor would be
filtered to the team and respective artists working on the shots.
Keep the leads informed of any changes in the schedule of client/sup reviews, so that they can
plan their work accordingly.
By using R&H propriety software to keep an overall track of when artist is getting done with the
current shot and assignment of shots.
Informing artists of pending elements to be received from other departments.
Coordinating with other departments (Modeling, texturing, tracking, anim) and their coordinators.
Noting and discussing issues or queries or concerns and addressing them by conducting meetings
with the leads, supervisors, technology (system, pipeline and operations department),
department manager on a regular basis or send out mails that need clarity.
Making sure the artists and my department functions smoothly.
Ensure the shots are delivered on time with high quality.
Keeping a tab of number of idle artists daily. Also anticipating in advance putting forth to the
sup/manager to ask for further work.
Help the managers to convey details and other information to the team and also provide them
information about artists.
Help technology with render projections and test out remote rendering with pipeline involvement.
Pass on commands and protocols to be followed to the artists for remote rendering.
Noting down the work priorities and render priorities for the day.
Help the leads in passing down the render priorities to the lighters and work/shot priorities for
the day to the compositors.
Select and collect elements for shots that would be required for preparing shot breakdowns after
the show is delivered.
Updating reports of artist’s skillsets.
Helping with recruitment for the department.
Dinner or lunch arrangements during peak production time.
Documenting shots for training purpose.
Maintain production and show specific WebPages/Gantts/Tasktracks/Approval of holidays on our
Intranet with details of current work status.
Informing Technology, Admin and HR when artists are called to work on weekends, so that
necessary arrangements are done for smooth flow of work.
Identify resource conflicts and follow through on the issues until resolution.
