CHUANG TZU
• Once Chuang Chou dreamt that he was a
butterfly. He did not know that he had ever

awoke and found to his astonishment that he
was Chuang Chou. But it was hard to be sure
whether he was really Chou and had only
dreamt that he was a butterfly, or was really a
butterfly, and was only dreaming he was

CHUANG TZU - RELATIVITY
In Sung there was a keeper of monkeys. Bad
times came and he was obliged to tell them
that he must reduce their ration of nuts. “It
will be three in the morning and four in the
evening.” he said. The monkeys were furious.
“Very well then”, he said, “ you shall have four
in the morning and three in the evening.” The
monkeys accepted with delight. (Chapter 2)
