There is significant effort under way from the USTA and the tennis industry to lay the foundation for future growth of tennis

We are appreciative of your efforts to support this initiative and have provided recommended guidelines below on how to
present youth tennis equipment (balls and racquets) on your website, as well as guidelines for pro/specialty retailers who
wish to be listed as authorized dealers of youth tennis equipment on the 10andUnderTennis.com Retail Locator.

Pro/Specialty Tennis Retailer
Guidelines and Specifications
Pro/Specialty Retailers who want to be listed on the Retail Locator on USTA's 10andUnderTennis.com need to first
register their business at TennisRetailers.org. Registered pro/specialty retailers will also receive a free Retail Tennis
Kit including wall size chart, Parents’ Guide, Door Sticker and merchandising information. Retailers must meet the
following minimum requirements to have their listing remain active on the Retail Locator.

Carry the full range of youth tennis equipment and keep in stock a minimum of 36 total junior racquet models that
cover the full range of racquet lengths—19", 21", 23" and 25”
Carry a minimum of 144 units of tennis balls (a mix of both red foam/felt, orange and green dot balls)
The number of racquets of each length is up to the individual retailer, as long as all four lengths are carried. Once
confirmed, retailers will be added to the "Find A Retailer" locator that searches by city/state or ZIP code mile radius.
Consumers will see a Google map display of the store location along with store information for consumers to contact.
(At the 25-mile radius, if the search return doesn’t display any stores nearby, online stores will then appear.)

Recommended Guidelines for presenting youth tennis equipment on your website and being included on USTA’s
10andUnderTennis.com website and Retail Locator:
New Guidelines for Ball & Racquet Presentation: The goal is to make purchasing decisions easy for the consumer and
to provide clear and consistent messaging across the industry. For balls and racquets:

Racquets should be in order from smallest to largest and only age-appropriate equipment should be listed within the
categories below, without mixing categories.

Ages 8 & Under
Red felt & foam ball only, racquets 19, 21, 23 inches (optional – green ball)

Orange ball only, racquets 23 – 25 inches (optional – green ball)
Ages 11 & Up
Green ball only, racquets 25 – 27 inches (optional – yellow ball)

partner). All data is aggregated, online retailers will receive customized reports.
