Americans With Disabilities Act Celebrates 25 Years
In June, the ADA Legacy Tour Bus Celebration stopped in Madison as part of the 25th
Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The event celebrated the history
of the disability rights movement and the impacts of the passage of the Americans with
Disabilities Act. It also provided opportunities to learn more about inclusion and access in
the future.

Need Someone to Meet You?
If you can’t be left alone at your destination,
let us know an attendant must be available
when the driver drops you off. Your attendant must be present and ready when the
driver arrives.
If an attendant is not present, drivers will
need to bring you along on their route until
another drop-off can be scheduled. Let your
attendant know that they need to be ready
to meet you when you arrive even if you
arrive sooner than expected.
If you can’t be left alone at your
destination:
• Call (608) 266-4466 at least one day
before your ride.
• All of your rides will be marked as “leave attended” on your driver’s schedule.
• Drivers will ask a responsible person to receive you.
• Drivers are not able to go into buildings
to find your caregiver.
