Dear Inmate #0702-16
You are hereby notified to report to the Missouri State
Penitentiary Saturday, July 2 between the hours of 16:00 and
22:00. Remember to bring your processing papers in hard copy or
on your mobile device to be scanned.
If you are serving your temporary incarceration with friends or
family, carpooling to the facility is recommended. See map below
for parking directions and transport information.
Upon arrival, Detainees may be subjected to search. Do not bring
prohibited items into prison including those listed in the fine
print. No shanks, shivs, lock-in-a-sock or weapons of any kind.
You may bring one lawn chair and snack for your personal use.
Three outlaw country gangs will perform a community service: 5
pm: Jason Bertrand, 6 pm: the Shotgun Billies, 7 pm: Hillbilly
Vegas. The notorious Travis Tritt, a wanted man for causing t-ro-u-b-l-e, will be behind bars at 8 pm.
Trustees with passes to the cafeteria dinner in A-Hall must
adhere to their exact assigned 30-minute time slot. No
exceptions.
Detainees over 21 will be banded and may be subjected to adult
beverage consumption. Water and soda will be offered in the
commissary along with other food concessions if detainees have
exhibited exemplary behavior and have enough funds in their
accounts. Detainees may also barter with the bands for
merchandise.
All personnel will use portable toilets and hand washing
stations for sanitation. No showers will be available.
Tours and entrance into unauthorized Prison buildings are outof-bounds. Follow the direction of the Guards at all times. They
will advise you on placing your chairs for maximum efficiency.
Trustees who are processed with a hand stamp may leave and reenter the facility. Cigarettes are contraband. No smoking is
permitted while serving time inside the walls. Designated
smoking on Lafayette street will be indicated.
You will see certain Trustees stationed around the perimeter of
the grounds under canopies. This is not for the general
population. It is for VIP (very important prisoners). You must
have permission to be in those areas.
We will strive to make doing your time Inside the Walls an
experience you won’t ever forget. Your good behavior will make
it easier on you and everyone you’ll be serving with.
See you behind bars on Saturday.
~The Warden
