THE INSTITUTION AND THE PUBLIC.
The Trustees of t110 Institution, in presenting their
Twenty-eighth Annual Catalogue to the public, would
return their acJmowledgments for the marked favor and
liberal patronage received from its numerous friends
and patrons. Their highest ambition and only object
havc been to found an Institution that shall bless the
Church and the world. They have appreciated the necessity of laying the foundation of intellectual and
moral attainments and discipline upon a broad and
permanent basis j and they have endeavored to pr04
vide the appliances and facilities for securing these objects. They labor to send forth young men and women,
so educated as to qualify them for the realities and responsibilities of activo life.
