Commissioning and Quick Start
Please observe the following instructions when installing and operating the machine in order to obtain optimum test results.
 Connect the AC / DC adapter to the wall outlet
 Connect the adapter to the CCE 112 NEO, if the device should not automatically turn on, press the ON / OFF button for 2
seconds.
 The unit performs a self-test after switching on and the display shows the current software version (Cxx).
 Insert the banknotes one by one into the device.
 The notes were checked, accepted bills are ejected forwards or backwards depending on the setting and the LED bar lights
up green.
 Counterfeit suspect notes are generally thrown forward and you will be alerted via a warning tone that this note was not
accepted and the LED bar flashes red, the display will also show an error message.

Setting the functions
You can adjust the CCE 112 NEO to your business needs as follows:
Output direction of the banknotes
Hold pressed the DIR / ▲▼ – button for around 2 seconds to change
the output direction of accepted banknotes. The banknotes can be
ejected either to the front or rear. Suspected banknotes are generally
ejected forward. The display shows the selected output direction
indicated by the two arrows on the left side of the display.
Single and total value
Press the CLR / MODE button shortly to switch between the ADD
function (adding up all accepted notes) and DEN function (display the
denomination of the last accepted bill).
The display will show by chosen option ADD "Value" in the upper
display and the total sum will be displayed. When selected DEN, you
get the message "Denomination" and the display shows the value of
the banknote. In general, the number of accepted banknotes is
displayed in the lower display area.
Currency display / currency selection
Manually selecting of the currency is not required. The CCE 112 NEO
recognizes the currency to be tested automatically when it is installed.
The standard software includeds Euro (EUR) - British Pound (GBP) Swiss Franc (CHF).
The detected currency is displayed in the left bottom of the screen.
Please note that not all currencies can be detected in all four
longitudinal directions. This is due to the position of the security
features on the banknotes, and can not be influenced by us. If a
banknote is not insert in the specified direction and / or position (e.g.
left side), the note is rejected as suspicious.
Sleep mode and reset the display
Sleep mode
If about 4 minutes no banknote is insert in the CCE 112 NEO, the device switches to power saving mode and turns off the
display. The blue LED on the ON / OFF button remains shining and indicates the readiness of the unit. If now a bill is inserted
into the device, it is automatically drawn in and the unit will return to the test mode.
Reset the display
If about 20 seconds, no banknote is insert in the CCE 112 NEO, the unit automatically clears the display, in both modes (ADD
and DEN). If you would like to clear the display manually, press and hold the CLR / MODE button for 2 seconds.

Update function
Open the battery pocket and insert the MicroSD card into MicroSD card socket, then connect the machine to the external
power supply.
Press and hold the “ON/OFF” key and "CLEAR/MODE" key simultaneously, when the buzzer beeps for 2 times and the green
indicator light is lightened all the time, it means the machine has entered download mode. The display will show in this mode
several “-“ symbols. Then the device will start the software download automatically. After the downloading job is finished, the
machine will beep for 2 times and automatically turn off. Please remove the card and switch on the unit for use.
Please note that it is necessary to use the power supply for the update procedure. You can’t update the
machine in battery mode.

If you have opted for an optional battery to operate the CCE 112 NEO also
mobile, please proceed as follows to install the battery.

Open the battery cover on the bottom of the device.
Connect the battery cable to the connector. Due to the shape of the
connector fitting direction is given.
Insert the battery as shown in the image in the designated mould and
make sure that the cables are not pinched.
Now close the battery compartment and plug the power adapter into the
unit to charge the battery. For the first charge, the device can take up to
12 hours.
In the upper right corner of the display you will see the charge icon of the
battery. Is no bar in the battery icon visible and does the icon flash, the
battery needs to be recharged.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the sensors
Through the banknotes and settling dust deposits will occur on the sensors of
the machine. These leads to increased non-detections of genuine banknotes.
Therefore clean periodically the sensors of CCE 112 NEO. Turn off
the machine when cleaning the unit in general and unplug the
power supply.
1 Reach into the input shaft of the unit and lift it up.
2 With a soft brush and cleaning cloth you can clean the sensors (see
arrows in the picture) and remove the dirt from the transport belts.
3 By using special cleaning towels you can maintain the sensors optimal.
