TFP CCTV Acceptance Criteria
TFP Schemes accept professionally installed and
hardwired vehicle CCTV systems on most of our
products.
CCTV Approved Models:
The following models are approved by TFP Schemes provided they are hard-wired into the
vehicle’s electrics. ‘Plug & Play’ systems are unacceptable as approved camera systems.

CCTV System Criteria
Systems meeting the following specification (when not one of the above approved models)
are acceptable subject to provision of a technical specification for the system fitted.

Hard-wired into the vehicle’s electrics and not “Plug and Play” systems.
Front outward facing cameras as a minimum.
System specification needs to include

Minimum lens angle of 120 degrees
At least 25 FPS (Frames Per Second) recording capability within settings
Recording quality meeting at least 720p HD
GPS information with time and date to include accelerometer, road speed and location
G Sensor auto records when triggered by an incidents / panic events capturing footage at
least 15 seconds before and 15 seconds after the event.
Continuous SD card loop recording for all file types
Separate partition within SD card for Events; Impact, Shock & Panic.
Sound recording which can be muted through system settings.
16 Gb SD card which is continually operational in the camera.
Night vision capability
VOSA/DVSA and Data Protection complaint
Password protection or encryption.
Specific viewing software (system specific) for users to review and extract footage.
Evidence of Fitting
Evidence of fitting is required within 30 days of a new policy inception or renewal for our non
fleet customers and within 60 days for our fleet customers. For replacement vehicles 30 days
from the date of the vehicle change.
