A Message
From Our Chair
Dear Friends,
I am so grateful for the continued support the Blue Springs School District community shows for
all of our students. The sharing of your time, talents and treasures has ensured our children have
the best possible resources, igniting their spark to become lifetime learners and to continue their
ascent far beyond the brick and mortar of the Blue Springs School District. While true that great
schools transform communities, I believe the school/community relationship to be symbiotic
in which great communities sustain their schools’ greatness. The Blue Springs Education
Foundation has proven a vital conduit between our schools and community.
I encourage you to thumb through our annual report as we highlight this past year’s
achievements from the various programs BSEF supports. Learn how thousands of children,
as well as adults, have benefited from the W.E.E. Learning Bus, how Blue Springs teachers,
administrators and staff have utilized grants to transform schools and individual students
through grant funding.
We still have work to do. Each year brings with it a wide-eyed class of kindergarten students who
are hungry to learn, challenges for teachers and staff to stretch their resources while continuing
to be engaging and innovative in the classroom, and ever evolving challenges life tosses to our
students.
Please join me in supporting Blue Springs’ students, teachers and staff with your donation of
time, talents or treasures. By pooling our means we can continue to “Advance the Legacy” of
the Blue Springs School District, Blue Springs Education Foundation and most importantly, our
students.
Sincerely,
Chris Ary
