Proudly presents. . . .
WILD, WILD ICE
May 19–May 21, 2017
Friday Show 7:00 p.m. ‡ Saturday Show 7:00 p.m.
Sunday Show 2:00 p.m.
1) Please complete and submit page 2 along with the proper payment on or before
Monday, January 9, 2017.
2) Ice Show information will be sent via email.
3) Ice Skater’s will pay the established application fee. The application fees are listed
on page 2.
4) If you would like to be in a GROUP NUMBER with a friend, skaters should be the
same level AND close to the same age. If your child is in Basic 3 and would like to
perform with a Basic 2 skater, both skaters will be placed in a Basic 2 group.
Requests will most likely be granted when BOTH skaters forms reflect the same
request (i.e., if Emily & Sarah would like to be together, BOTH registration forms
should indicate this). If Emily asks to be with Sarah, but Sarah DOES NOT ask to
be with Emily, they might not be placed in the same number. It really helps when
you attach your registration forms together with a paper clip and submit them at
the same time. Final Group placement will be determined by the Ice Show
Director.
5) All soloists will receive guidance from the Ice Show Director regarding their solo
costume and will be responsible for purchasing their own.
6) The Ice Show Rehearsal Schedule will not conflict with your skater’s class schedule.
7) Ice Show Rehearsals will be held between:
Tuesday, April 25, 2017 – Thursday, May 18, 2107
It is important for skaters to attend the majority of their rehearsals. Most
groups will have five (5) to six (6) one hour rehearsals. Skaters need to
feel prepared for their show performance…practice makes perfect!
8) Ice Show Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 & Thursday, April 20,
2017. Ice Show Picture Packages will be available for purchase through Seeger
People. Your skater will be assigned one of these dates. Ice Show photos are
placed in the commemorative Ice Show Program, which will be available for
purchase.
9) Group assignments and costume pictures will be posted on the Learn to Skate
Office window in mid-January.
10) The first half of the Ice Show is generally 60 minutes with a 25 minute
intermission followed by the second half at 60 minutes…making the length of the
entire production two and a half hours long. All skaters are encouraged to be in
the GRAND FINALE that takes place at the end of each performance.
