FRANKENSTEIN TIC-TAC-TOE
Play Tic-Tac-Toe with your partner! During class today, you and your partner must complete three of the following
assignments. Choose three that form a straight vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line.
Symbols
Create a symbol for each of the main
characters (Victor, the creature,
Elizabeth, Walton, Justine, Henry) in
Frankenstein. Draw and color each
symbol and attach a sheet explaining
your choice for each.
One-pager
Pull out your three favorite quotes
from the play. Copy the quotes,
including citation information, and
write a brief reaction to each one
explaining why each particular quote
was so meaningful to you. Draw and
color an image that represents this
quote.
The Language of Women
Write a diary entry from Elizabeth’s
perspective as she worries about
Victor. One page minimum. Decorate
your page.
What did she say?
Choose five of the six main characters
(Victor, the creature, Elizabeth,
Walton, Justine, Henry) and find two
quotes, (each of the two quotes need
to be from different reading sections)
which best demonstrate him or her.
Include an explanation for each of your
choices.

Create a wordle on a piece of
construction paper that communicates
the main messages, literary techniques
and character issues from one of the
two plays.
Coming to a Theater Near You
Cast five of seven main characters.
Write a description of each character
and a short biography of each actor’s
previous work.
What’s In A Name?
Create an acrostic poem for 3 different
characters. Draw and color an image
for each to accompany each poem.
Frankenstein’s Creature the
Sequel
It is unclear what happens to the
creature after he rows away from
Walton’s ship. Write a one-page
sequel telling what happens.
Game time
Create a one-page crossword puzzle
to practice using at least 10 literary
terms that are used or apply to
Frankenstein. Hints must incorporate
definitions and story/ character
specifics.
