Sam Bowman – cancer has spread to his brain.
Shirley Tallent – stage 4 colon cancer, about to start t reatment. 10/11/15
Mandy Bradley – inoperable Lung cancer (Judy Patterson’s sister in law)
Mary Camp – cancer 3/15/15
Russell Jones - Multiple Myeloma 7/12/15
Larry Bryan-bone cancer, not doing well (Laura Johnson’s dad) 7/19/15
Sharon McDonald –has stage 4 lung cancer. Pray for both Sharon & Bill. 4/19/15 Linda M.
Ricky Carpenter – Lung cancer 4/19/15 Lexi
Pam Preston - Breast cancer. (friend of Megan Holloway) taking chemo for 1 year! 8/13/15
Malone Daugherty – prostate cancer. 5/4/15.
Linda Mackey-Cancer incurable. (Marian’s friend)
Ray Lindsey – Cancerous tumor very close to his heart causing it to be inoperable. Praying for healing.
Jerome Fain – Pancreatic & Liver cancer
Judy Kirksey – update: surgery went well, she is home and recovering.
Bill Johnson – has been placed on Hospice.
Lamar Owens – possible rectal cancer trying radiation to shrink tumor.
Doug Fugate has cancer all over.

Jenette (Nettie) Williams- diagnosed with Melanoma
Carlene Kyerkendall – Colon cancer and Breast cancer
LeRoy Owens – underwent radiation & chemo and praying that it worked.
Charlene McCosh – stage 4 melanoma
Nancy Wison- Breast cancer (Betsy’s friend)
Jim Miller – cancer
Wanda Crockett – Breast cancer with surgery this week.

Dole Parsons – Triple By-Pass
Diane Torbett – finding out this week if Melanoma is back
Brian Skeets Haney –recovering at home now
Tyler Swafford – young paraplegic who has developed a serious bone infection.
Josh Redmond – losing both eyes from injury.
Tracy Ford’s husband diagnosed with ALS.
Debbie Owens – (Irene’s sister) had a car accident and a stroke.
Harlan Brock - had a stroke involving the right eye. Our prayers are for full recovery.
Frankie Harrell – friend of Joan & Robert’s who had a heart attack last week.
Shannon Bannon – underwent kidney transplant, praying that the new kidney works.
Paul Hay – Lyn Lewis’s brother had 2 heart surgeries last week with complications.
Betty Raper- continuing to heal at NHC in Athens.

Stacy Torbett – Lung specialist on Tuesday
Breyanna Cochran – 2nd round of sterioids didn’t correct her platelet problem. Start treatment in 2 wks.
Amber Willhoit – James’ cousin 17 yr old in a terrible car accident. Portion of her left leg was amputated.
Rose Davidson – (Clint’s grandmother) she has had mini-strokes, trouble with b/p & vison
Trish Davis – diagnosed with ALS and it is progressing very fast.
Doug Snyder’s wife died with breast cancer.
Pray for the families of: BJ Webb, Charlie Green, Sarah Neil and Gale Ingram
Prayers for the family of Sandra Parrott.

Don’t forget:
On Sunday, March 6, we will enjoy another soup luncheon to raise money for Relay for Life. Please be
sure to sign up to bring food and also to let us know if you plan to attend. There is a list going around!
On Sunday March 6 @ 6pm, Sanford Hands of Praise will be here to share in their sign language ministry
of spreading God’s message performed to music. Please plan to come and bring a friend! Refreshments
will be provided after the service.
Join us as we plan to prepare and deliver food to Grace & Mercy Mission in Athens on Monday, March 14.
It will be a spaghetti meal. Please see Susan Kirksey for details and to sign up.
There are forms on the table in the foyer to sign up for the relay team. There is a $10 registration fee and
you will receive an American Cancer Society t-shirt. See Marian Hale for more information.
We want to begin collecting items for our Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry. We thought it
would be easier if we collected items each month throughout the year instead of all at one time. For the
month of February please bring in: small dolls, earrings, flip flops, crayons & coloring books. Each
month we will provide a new list of items. May God bless our efforts with this mission!
