On October 4, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., all
students in the Developmental Learning Center – New
Providence, 330 Central Avenue, New Providence, New
Jersey, participated in bus emergency evacuation drills. The
drills took place in front of the school and included Routes
CS342, CS393, DLCN05Q, CS331, and CS226. Dr. Julie
Gardner supervised the drills.
On October 5, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., all
students in the Developmental Learning Center – New
Providence, 330 Central Avenue, New Providence, New
Jersey, participated in bus emergency evacuation drills. The
drills took place in front of the school and included Routes
CS284, DLCN02, E0423, and MU921. Dr. Julie Gardner
supervised the drills.
On October 7, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., all
students in the Developmental Learning Center – New
Providence, 330 Central Avenue, New Providence, New
Jersey, participated in bus emergency evacuation drills. The
drill took place in front of the school and included Route
CS470. Dr. Julie Gardner supervised the drill.
On October 11, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., all
students in the Developmental Learning Center – New
Providence, 330 Central Avenue, New Providence, New
Jersey, participated in bus emergency evacuation drills. The
drills took place in front of the school and included Routes
MUJC925, 7155, S106, CS402, E321, 94A+B, 200, and
135B. Dr. Julie Gardner supervised the drills.
On October 12, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., all
students in the Developmental Learning Center – New
Providence, 330 Central Avenue, New Providence, New

Jersey, participated in bus emergency evacuation drills. The
drills took place in front of the school and included Routes

On October 17, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., all
students in the Developmental Learning Center – Warren,

in bus emergency evacuation drills. The drills took place in

in bus emergency evacuation drills. The drills took place in

1307, Linden BOE, and 105. Terry Bischak supervised the
drills.
On October 25, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., all
students in the Developmental Learning Center – Warren,
217 Mountain View Road, Warren, New Jersey, participated
in bus emergency evacuation drills. The drill took place in
front of the school and included Route 929. Terry Bischak
supervised the drill.
On October 26, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., all
students in the Developmental Learning Center – Warren,
217 Mountain View Road, Warren, New Jersey, participated
in bus emergency evacuation drills. The drills took place in

On October 27, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., all
students in the Developmental Learning Center – Warren,
217 Mountain View Road, Warren, New Jersey, participated
in bus emergency evacuation drills. The drills took place in
front of the school and included Routes 7524 and 6145.
Terry Bischak supervised the drills.
On October 28, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., all
students in the Developmental Learning Center – Warren,
217 Mountain View Road, Warren, New Jersey, participated
in bus emergency evacuation drills. The drills took place in
front of the school and included Routes S-585 and 983.

A.
Move the approval of the following resolution:
WHEREAS, the continuing expansion of the Developmental
Learning Centers requires that the Morris-Union Jointure
Commission hire certified and noncertified staff on an
emergent basis, prior to the completion of the criminal history
record check by the Commissioner of Education; and
WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 18A:6-7.1 et seq. provides for the
emergent hiring of employees for a period not to exceed three
months, pending completion of a criminal history records
check by the Commissioner of Education; and
WHEREAS, all new employed certified and noncertified
candidates for employment have provided attestation that
they have not been convicted of any disqualifying crime
pursuant to the provision of N.J.S.A. 18A:6-7.1 et seq.,
N.J.S.A. 18A:39-17 et seq., or N.J.S.A. 18A:6-4.13 et seq.;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Morris-Union
Jointure Commission Board of Education approves the within
Authorization for Emergent Hiring Pending Completion of
